  • Quitterie the Slave

    Born from a common harem girl, Quitterie had no qualms adopting the life of a slave from a young age. Her training in gymnastics began at the age of five, and upon showing promise in the field, she had been chosen to more finely develop and train as a proper contortionist and acrobat. Many other slaves would consider her lack of conversation as snobbish or uppity, while also interpreting her joy of a challenge as another way to try and make the rest look bad. She studied her craft as avidly as any other great artist or scientist would pursue their own, leaving her with several awkward social tendencies.

    When left alone, she seemed to prefer reading or meditation and always avoided larger crowds. While she showed a great interest in dance and the arts, most of her time was dedicated to perfecting her stamina and strength.

    Eventually she was sold off to a wandering merchant for a fetching price, though it wasn't long before the slave realized that she was to be sold as common fodder to the next trading post they passed through.

  • The Chamois

    Quitterie is a chamois, which is a goat-antelope species native to mountains in Europe. They have white faces with distinctive black marks that run from their eyes down their cheeks, and have two small, slightly curved horns year-round. In the summer and spring they have a light to dark brown coat, while in the winter and fall the brown fades to grey.
