Deep in the Galaxy known as "The Milky way" war wages, Between the Humans and a number of species who have formed an alliance known as "The Covenant", The Covenant believe the Humans have desecrated their Gods known as "The Forerunners" by building on top of artifacts and destroying holy relics. The Humans are losing this war, The only thing standing between Earth and the Covenant are loads of protocols to make sure the Covenant never find it. However, The Covenant did find Earth, And activated an Artifact to light every Halo ring in the Galaxy, A teleporter to a Forerunner facility known as "The Ark" in another galaxy, The fate of the Galaxy is being decided on this Ark

Buck was shooting down grunt after grunt as they came, They were trying to secure a landing zone, But the Covenant were making it quite difficult for them. There was fighting in space. The Humans and Elites (Who were betrayed by the Prophets, AKA the Covenant leaders) were fighting the Brute and Prophets ships. The amount of fighting going on would light up a radar so much that you could not see much else. Buck jumped on top of a Brute and stabbed it in the face with his Combat knife "Come on!" Buck yelled pushing the Covenant back with fellow Marines and ODSTs

The northern spiral of the Eastern Galaxy. Deep within the territory of a tentacled psionic race, known as the Oxiods. Near the Gelogon Subsector, between the system of Ilkan and Yahaught. A derelict Oxiod vessel floats in deep space. There is problem which stains this lost vessel: It's entire crew is dead.

Three unidentified automatons roam the main bridge, their ominous shape is caught by the security cameras, but none will see those videos until these three are long gone. The three robotic figures stare aimlessly for a moment at the black void that awaits them. Then suddenly, one of them turns to the body of the dead captain.

A voice suddenly manifests from the white, silver visored, yet blooded machine. "How is it that we had dispatched this crew so easily..?" Traoma wonders as he snatches the control panel from the captain's broken corpse. "From the absurd babble I had heard, I thought that this weak-bodied race would have at least some chance."

"...We are not like other races..." A shimmering blue robot replies to Trauma's question. "The Oxiods could not detect us because we are inorganic. We have no vitals that the Oxiod mind can possibly identify. That is why our attack came at such a surprise." The tall, blue automaton was the leader of the three, they were bound together by a similar cause of exploration, though all three had different reasons, especially the malevolent Kabalt, whose reasons contradicted both Traoma's and Advunturion's.

"We can speak of trophies after we have discovered this UFO we have been looking for." The last of the three, a copper, black visored, and tall machine hissed at his companions. "Our gloating will only waste precious time, we need to keep moving." Advunturion handed to Traoma a map, comprising of the recent activity within the subsector. His dagger like claw jabbed at the large blip, signalling the point of recent, unidentified activity. "Take us to this area, so that we may find this strange phenomena."

"Affirmative, but do not try to assert leadership over me, Advunturion. I have no lord. Not even Kabalt." Traoma kicked the captain's corpse from it's seat, and planted himself firmly, sliding the map onto the holoscreen, he waited a moment for a good, solid path to their destination.

the area of the Phenomenon was no planet, but a strange object, One side metallic, The other full of organic life and an artificial earth like atmosphere

The Ark

There were tons of ships fighting, It seemed like the Grey ships and Green ships were fighting Orange and Purple ships, Funny thing is. The Green, Orange and Purple ships all looked the same. On the ground there was fighting everywhere, It seemed like the Purple ships were very technologically advance.

Buck kept pushing the lines until they had cleared the area "Forward Unto Dawn! Foxtrot group is clear to make their assault all ANTI AIR Batteries are down!" Buck then fell to the ground, Something just hit the ground hard, Buck turned around and was in shock "SCARAB!!! GET TO COVER" Buck screamed/Yelled as the Huge walker started shooting its main assault beam at any infantry, And using its large top turret to shoot any air vehicles out of the sky!



The Scarab Walker

"...How Intriguing..." Kabalt's red visor lit up as the enigmatic object came into their view. "Very similar to a sanctuary space station, only much larger. Perhaps we could explore this strange place."

"And you think that I intend to land on this godforsaken contraption..?" Traoma suddenly hissed rebelliously at Kabalt's idea to land upon the Ark. "To me, this will be nothing more than an annoyance on my part. I will not be dragged about as your lapdog, to join in a false chase that only benefits you."

"I am afraid you are at a loss here, Traoma." An armed Advunturion suddenly interrupted automaton's rant, holding a shard stinger to the tip of his 'head.' "As much as I dislike to serve under Kabalt like you, I will not allow you to sever this chance of exploration. If you refuse, then I shall land us on the object myself, at least after I kick your lifeless hulk out of the cockpit."

Traoma, though was greatly stressed by his advanced age, knew better than to transgress his brethren, and sacrifice his body for nothing. Unlike the organic races, there is no release for the Neakhorics, they now spend eternity in their voluntary shells, even in death. "Very well... Where do you suppose we land..?"

Kabalt surveyed the both sides of the object, one side completely metallic, the other bustling with life. He thought for a moment to land on the organic atmosphere, and for the moment, integrate themselves with the rest of the life upon there in secrecy, just until they are aware of what is actually happening, but Kabalt had much more sinister reasons for landing upon the organic atmosphere.

"Land upon the organic half of the planet, I don't care where, though land upon a mountain edge to shade our arrival."

"As you wish.." Traoma set coordinates upon the center of the mysterious sanctuary, whilst looking back to find both his companions slowly crossing their arms, as if they were mirroring eachother's actions. Traoma cursed them both, hoping that they malfunctioned on the journey, at least then he would be free of their arrogance.

The middle is where most of the fighting was going on, Because the center is where the control room for this installation is! The Scarab saw this object heading for the planet (As there is a living being In the scarab) And it started firing its anti air turret at it, A bunch of blue bursts flew at the new ship. The Scarab started so its main cannon could fire at the ship. Buck saw this as an opportunity to get to cover, along with the rest of his men

A being was observing the Scarab attack this new target "Interesting" He said while being escorted by some Brutes, "Not a human vessel, Nor a Sangheili (Elites real name) Vessel... Keep me informed, I have a Human or two to capture" He said and floated away on his chair

The vessel was caught by the ensuing fire, after the scarab had shot it's cannon. The shot managed to penetrate the engine core of the Oxiod ship. Within a a moment, the entire vessel was engulfed in a massive inferno. The sheer force of the explosion split the vessel into two, it's lower body sank into the mountains, as a smouldering pile of ash.

"We've been hit, and we are going to descend into the ground." Advunturion somehow kept his composure, a byproduct of species as an entirety. Emotions rarely got in the way of one who simply could not understand them. "What should we do now..?" The upper body of the ship could barely keep itself hovering. Within a few minutes, it would join it's lower body, as well as the ashes of the Oxiod crew.

"We must wait it out Advunturion." Kabalt's reply to Advunturion would've normally been considered crazy, but they were trapped. It was their only option. "The ship's remains have gone haywire, it's has literally shut itself down in a foolish attempt to preserve us. There is no escape now. We must endure.

Kabalt and Advunturion grabbed on to the metallic pillars beside them, making sure that they did not lose their balance as they crashed into the ground. Traoma jammed his claws into the steel pilot mainframe, in order to make sure he would not fall either. "The vessel's hovering program has shut down, now we descend..."

The ship's remains suddenly fell from the sky in a rain of steel. The hulk crashed into the ground, and a second, though smaller fire scorched the nearby terrain of the ship's remains. Almost the entirety of the bridge platform was crushed, caved in by the rest of the vessel. The three drone like automatons were knocked out during the crash, the sheer force caused them to instinctively deactivate themselves.

Buck saw the ship go down, But he had bigger problems, The Scarab. Buck then got an idea "Hay Forward unto dawn? You still got any hornets?"

Some Covenant broke off to see the crashed ship, Five grunts and an Elite. The Elite was the only thing from keeping the cowardly grunts from running away screaming. three grunts had Plasma Pistols, The other two had Needlers. The Elite had a plasma rifle and started shouting in its alien language to search the wreck

The three automatons regained their consciousness, only to find that they were meters away from being crushed like the rest of the ship. They tore themselves away, and moved toward the broken glass of the bridge, which could release them out into the wilderness. However, their awakening was interrupting by unusual high pitched babbling.

"My audio receptors are picking up a signal, we have unwelcome company." Kabalt checked the broken glass, then looked back at the other two. "I will go check, do not leave this area until I get back." His fellows nodded reluctantly at his order, as he slid above the bridge.

Kabalt's body was much different in ability than Traoma's or Advunturion's. Though all three had the same elongated frames, Kabalts limbs were all double jointed, which allowed him to make crazy and unpredictable movements. Moving above the wreckage like that of a spider, he was surprised to find a small squad of unusual alien creatures examining the Oxiod wreckage, led by a much larger creature. He held firm the idea that if these alien creatures were working together, they were probably of some sort of confederacy, or perhaps the small, seemingly inferior rabble were slaves. He kept himself at a good distance, hoping that he would not be caught out.

The Elite started shouting out orders, then two more elites walked over and started inspecting the damage, One had some sort of sword and was different from the other two, and the other had a needler. Another being was sneaking around the wreckage, It was a human in military armor, an Elite saw this human, It was the one with the Needler "WORT WORT WORT" It said in a deep menacing voice and unloaded the purple crystal shards at the human, Then when enough shards hit the Human, He was obliterated by a purple explosion, It is if the needler shards react when a bunch hit in a close proximity

Kabalt scanned the interesting alien beings. Then again, he himself was completely extraterrestrial to this place, of what seemed to be a sanctuary of sorts. As he saw the shards explode beside the now lifeless Human, he knew that he would need the talents of Traoma and Advunturion to take them out. But, there was another plan Kabalt had in mind.

If Kabalt and his brethren stayed hidden for long enough, perhaps they would investigate the Oxiod corpses, and leave the wreckage, in the knowledge that the ship's crew was annihilated in the blast. Only time would tell, as the automaton slipped away, back into the bridge interior.

As Kabalt slipped back into the window, it was obvious that his brethren would be eager to hear of his findings. "So then... What have you come across..?" Advunturion questioned his so-called leader

"There are beings lurking beside here, inspecting the damage of this hulk." Kabalt replied to Advunturion's question, keeping himself from the window, in case anything were to see him by the damaged bridge. "Hopefully, they will come to believe, through the corpses of the charred Oxiods, that this ship is an empty wreck."

"And if they don't?" Traoma interrupted Kabalt's reassurance, eager to hear a response from his false master.

"Then, we will have to silence our actions here, through the lives of our inspectors." A last resort would mean that the three would have to engage the creatures in open combat, which would blow their cover.

The Zealot shouted at the others, From his tone they seemed like orders. He ignited his Energy sword and stabbed the sword into the hull and cut a 8 foot tall hole into the ship so the taller elites could fit in, The zealot and an elite stayed outside while an Elite minor and the grunts went inside to investigate the crash.

"They seem inquisitive Kabalt." Traoma hissed toward his false master. It seemed inevitable that they would enter combat with these newfound beings. "What if they finally come inside this room? Our cover will be blown."

"If that happens, then we shall send them back soaked in their own blood." Kabalt's response was audacious and prideful, but it seemed to be the only option the Neakhorics had. If these beings were to find the truth, then Kabalt hoped that it would set their souls free... from their bodies...

Advunturion stood silently, he felt no need to side with either Neakhoric. He could only look forward to the worst possible outcome, if the alien creatures were to come as far to the bridge that is.

They were nearing the room that Advunturion and the others were in. Oddly their were voices heard in English! Albeit it sounded like humans on helium, The small aliens spoke English and so did the elites, But the elites preferred speaking their native language "This no look like Human vessel" One of the grunts said looking around, Another one spoke Maybe its vessel sent by Gods!" Another said, Then another spoke "Or maybe its one of those Flood ships! And they have come to eat us!" One grunt yelled out and they others started panicking, Until the elite Minor wacked one of the grunts with his Plasma Rifle "shut up all of you! Or I will gut you all myself!" The Elite yelled out in a menacing voice, The grunts all shut up and started moving forward, They knew better than to piss off an elite. They came to the door that Advunturion was behind, "Zealot" The minor simply said, Then the Zealot and the other elite came

"Its a door" The Zealot said and punched the Elite in the shoulder "Why have you bothered me with a door!" The Elite turned to the Zealot "There are readings in this room, The readings are like the Holy Oracles but slightly different" The Zealot ignited his sword and put it to the elites neck "If you are lying..." The Zealot then backed off and started cutting the door up

Advunturion caught sight of the blinding weapon, which was carving the door open. "Plasma... If our armor is caught by such a weapon, it will melt our internal systems, and we will shut down. Kabalt, what do you thi-" It was too late, Kabalt had already fled, and knowing the backstabbing traitor, he's already half-expecting Advunturion and Traoma to come crawling back to him once this skirmish. But for the sake of his own exploration, and independence from his false leader, Advunturion, or Traoma for that matter, were going to return to their apathetic brother.

"I knew he would he do this... This is your fault Advunturion, if you had not threatened to kill me, we could have turned away, and explored the rest of the system." Traoma was very different from other Naekhorics. Though he still could not understand the concept of emotion, he felt anger and frustration, an emotion that should seem common amongst the species, but is almost void.

Advunturion armed himself with the shard stinger as he lectured Traoma. These beings got ever closer. There was little doubt that they would have the first move of attack. "What difference would it have made to Kabalt? I saved you and myself from death, he would have killed us for our incompetence, now focus on the task at hand, or you will truly this time."

Traoma bit the bullet. For his own sake. He listened to Advunturion, and drew his weapon, a "silver spear." A retractable blade, tipped with electrical currents along the edge. While it's material is much stronger than silver, it get's it's name from the dazzling shine it gives off.

The Elite Zealot then kicked the broken door down and looked in to see the two beings, but rather than the Zealot try to strike them down, He knelt and deactivated his weapons "Oracles..." He said in a respecting voice, It seemed as if they thought they were Gods of all things! The others followed in suit, Though the grunts had to sit down as evolution had not been kind enough to give them the joints to kneel.

Traoma and Advunturion could only find themselves curious and interested in the sudden, yet positive reaction of these beings. With no reason show hostility, Traoma and Advunturion could only watch for a the moment. While Traoma found himself somewhat amused, Advunturion gave a solemn bow. Though apathetic and capricious, Advunturion had bound himself to his own code of honour and respect, he would not let gratitude, respect or mercy go unpaid.

Now the automatons could only wait for the creatures to break their silence. Only then could they finally take action.

The Zealot stood up and looked at the two beings "Oracles, We must hurry. The Humans and Brutes seek to destroy you and light the rings and wipe out all life in the galaxy." he said reactivating his sword, The others stood up and armed their weapons "We must protect these Holy Oracles!" The Zealot yelled and the others got up and walked out patrolling the area

As apathetic as Advunturion and Traoma were to the troubles of other beings, even the destruction of all life within the galaxy seemed like an unimaginable horror. In an instant, they felt a compulsion to follow the Zealot. But a new question dawned on the Naekhorics. Just who, or what, were the Brutes? They had a faint idea of mankind, having had conflict with their own form upon the Oriukt solar system, but what this codename, for these creatures mean?

From afar, Kabalt could see Advunturion and Traoma being taken by the alien beings. From what he could hear, both of them were religious artifacts. He would intend to follow them both, and find out for himself, why they have both been venerated as... 'Oracles.'

As they walked outside the Grunts started looking around as if Panicked, and they had a right to be, Up a head was one of the Elites with its chest ripped open... It looked like something ripped out his vital organs, "Brutes! With active Cameo! Get to cover you fools!" The Zealot yelled at the Grunts who quickly did as the Zealot said, The Other elite Loaded his needler while the other zealot armed his deal Plasma Rifles. Then a bunch of ape like creatures jumped out and started firing their own version of the Elite Plasma Rifle, This one was red and shot faster then the Elite version. But it did overheat faster. The other Brutes had Spikers, A Machine gun-like weapon that fired Spikes out from it into its pray, While it did not have much effect on shields. It would kill any unshielded pray in seconds. The Elites and Grunts fired back but two grunts were killed before they knew what happened. The dead grunts had something leaking from their backs, Methane. It seemed the Grunts breathed this stuff rather than oxygen

Advunturion and Traoma got to cover as the firefight began to seemingly reach it's peak. Advunturion knelt down by a large rocky cavern for the sake of good cover. He wanted to penetrate and pick them off from afar. But Traoma had other ideas. All Naekhorics subconsciously fed on something to help satiate their boredom. Advunturion thrived off of exploration, Traoma however, thrived off of conflict. With what sounded like some sort of traumatizing synthesized mechanical roar, Traoma rushed into the no man's land, throwing the silver spear as if it was a futuristic javelin. If it hit, it would probably have no doubt been effective, but it would have not only left Traoma out in the open as a sitting duck, but also blown Advunturion's cover, who meanwhile was subsequently moving to another spot, having his precious vantage point complete ruined by that buffoon of a partner.
