So my boyfriend and I recently discovered this pretty sweet videochat site after we kept running into issues with Skype. It's simply a website that asks permission to use your camera and microphone and with literally one click you can videochat with up to 8 different people!

You don't need to install anything at all. All you need is a most recently updated version of Firefox, Chrome, or Opera and a mic and/or webcam. (Doesn't work with IE, because IE sucks monkey butts as usual and doesn't keep up with new technology

I'd also like to point out that this works on mobile devices on Android that use Opera Beta browser! Depending on your phone's capacity it may or may not work smoothly. If you have an older phone or tablet, chances are it won't work well or be extremely laggy. (Please beware data chargers if you don't use Wifi)

I don't think appear.in lets you join if you don't have a mic or cam connected though.
