So, I would really like to be able to format my own character sheet with BBCODE in order to look unique and different. In order to do this, I would like to be able to use the [*table][*/table] option. It would look something like this, if it were enabled. Well, I'm sure there are other people who would want this as well XD

Having a table enables you to be able to put pictures on the side of your character sheet instead of the tops or bottom as seen here. Just a suggestion for now... <3

I've been wanting to have tables for some things for a while now myself. There are many kinds of info you can easily sort into tables to make the layout prettier and info easier to find.

I don't know how doable this is though, coding-wise and making the BBC easy to use for newbies.

Krissy, did you know you can align images left or right of text by using the align=right tag in it?

Code:
[img algin=left]http://www.rprepository.com/images/charicons/chico-12540-1340287459.jpg[/img] Hi, I'm krissy!

That will look like this:

chico-12540-1340287459.jpg Hi, I'm krissy!

Oh yes, I knew about that. But I want a whole paragraph next to the picture, not just a line of text XD I've experimented with that already haha.

Well, that's exactly what it does? If you add more text it will fill up the area next to the picture. Doesn't have to be just one line. :)

Not on the forums, but it does on character profiles. :)

Sorry I'm late to the party!

We don't exactly have tables, but our BBCode does come with column support. I didn't include it in the manual because I wasn't too keen on how un-user-friendly it looked and feared the amount of questions I'd get about how to use it (and the amount of display issues abusing it with dozens of columns could cause), but since you asked, here's a taste!
Code:
This text goes before the columns. [columns] This text is in the first column. This is a second line in the first column. [nextcol] This is the second column, with a second line. [nextcol] This is a third column. Are we having fun yet? [/columns] This text goes after the columns.

This text goes before the columns.
This text is in the first column.
This is a second line in the first column.
This is the second column,
with a second line.
This is a third column.
Are we having fun yet?
This text goes after the columns.
Nessa (played anonymously)

The columns are amazing to use! :) I added them to Nessa's page with great success and they beautify her profile's appearance tremendously.

Please do add this to the BBC manual. I'm sure with a clear description and example people will understand it easily.

Decided to give this a try on one of my pages, and I gotta say it's handy. It took quite awhile to figure out how to leave certain spots blank (hooray invisible characters!), but I think it turned out decent. The first column is off by about a half line, but I can't seem to fix it. Spacing had to be customized with invisible characters, as well, but overall it seems to work fairly well.

This is the page, if you're interested. This is what I was attempting to emulate.

Tyr, that is an amazing use! You are getting kudos for that.

Haha, thank you, kindly! It really made the tree much better, and I'll be able to edit it as things change. :)
Dagger (played by Jane)

Oh god, I have to try out the columns on Daggers page. <3

Very very late update: I did indeed add this to the BBC manual. :) http://www.rprepository.com/help/bbcode#120

I so totally coulda used this code. I like using table-esque styles for a lot of info on my characters.
