Twenty years ago Rebecca Callies committed suicide. She was thirteen-years-old and it shocked the tiny town of Hope Springs. No one knew what to do or think or say. It was a crazy, terrible thing that just didn’t happen in some town America.
The ones who were the most effected, though, were her friends. A small group of kids. One of course, was her sister Emily. Only seven, she didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye. All she had left was her memories.
For the others, they all slowly moved away. Their parents didn’t want to keep them where they had lost everything. They grew up normal kids, having forgotten all the bad things. Certainly they remembered Becky. Certainly they remembered some of the weird things she said.
They forgot, though, the weird things they experienced. The strange screams in the night. The weird shadows on the wall. The horrifying voices that whispered to them late at night. They forgot those things.
Each of Becky’s old friends gets a letter, in the spring. It comes a few months before the twentieth year anniversary of Becky’s death. The writing is beautiful cursive with a feminine turn to it.
I am looking for three other people to play with, who are over the age of 18. The game covers topics of child abuse, mental illness, suicide and other such lovely things. This is a game that I have run before, based on a novel I have been planning. It only works if all members up up for mature content. Unfortunately I'm all full up for characters between Kreig, Sanne and Padfootlet. I might run this one again in the future (since I do plan on writing it as a nWoD module!)
