In a devious world called Kartha'trax, live elfs and humans, dwarfs, golem armies and people cursed by tyrants most foul, marauding orcs, even crazed geniuses. On this world is a land known as Lurisca, named by the humans of the Trenzorian empire, a tight collection of powerful humans. In this collection of humans, in a newly founded city named Cardor, the king of Cardor was found dead and his seat was taken by an elf with a clever plan. Such a clever plan that the humans are happy to have him lead their city as king, no matter how idiotic it is to 'elect' a king. This elf so sly that the people had no idea how he was involved in their kings death.
In the castle of Cardor. A prettied up elf guy answers a message on a mechanical communication device "Yes? then you are all alright? Right I will tell the king, Oh and do tell the rogue that she is free to leave our service with her reward, if she made it alright." The prince turns around and walks to the other side of the castle to the kings throne. The king, a pale elf with long brown hair looks down at his new very large chess board and he smiles to the prince as he walks in "Oh prince, isn't the new board and pieces great?" The prince laughs quietly "Heh yes, very cool, I got word that the golem armada has been disabled The dwarf dead and the damned liberated and in thanks to our little adventure squad in the name of Trenzor." The king laughs and moves around pieces on his chess board "Heheh just let me catch up." The king already had his pieces made out for the hero's and opponents and armies. The king topples over the dwarf and puts the golem army aside and puts the damned army and velasandra together and set them in the crystal forest. "Ahh just as destiny foretold." The king moves the adventurers into Chizen's cart and moves them all into the desert to Chronos. "Get into contact with the group and tell them they will be paid even more if they move over to Chronos, chronos is at its weakest with its missing leaders and everyone will be aware of this." The prince salutes the King "I will get right on that." The king smirks and pushes his adventurer's to Chronos.
His adventurers, Kalor the charming pale elf in dark robes that goes by the name of 'Ace'. Rea Selyore The experienced grey skinned elf with her companion Lupe the purple skinned young elf with a taste for gold and gems. Decemi the strange and very mysterious giant of a man or golem that always wears his black metal armor and has survived fatal blows in the past. Chizen, a great human inventor with a unique form of transportation to be only used as a form of transportation or to defend the adventurers when needed.
Chizen and Ace nod to each other as they receive the message. Ace claps his hands together once. "Alright, all aboard." Chizen snaps on his goggles and gets into his newly rebuilt cart. Lupe sighs "its too early in the morning..." Decemi scratches his chest armor with red metal scars where he was stabbed and two cannon ball dents from his previous fight. Then Decemi's cannon ball dents in his chest pop back out and he looks down to his chest and a smile appears on his mask for a moment before going back to his normal two lines for eyes. Decemi hops on the cart and balances himself. Lupe scoots onto the Cart. Ace hops onto the cart. Chizen takes off. Ace takes out a small book and smirks to it and looks down to his new robes. Decemi looks down to his new big black sword and shield and smiles. Rea wears new leather armor and has her new blade. Lupe given gems she smiles down to her bag then looks up to Chizen "Did Chizen get anything?" Ace shakes his head no "Chizen works personally with my brother, he gets his own rewards, not plunder." Ace's brother being the King.
Chizen drives the adventurers across the Luriscan desert once again Chizen has history with Chronos and seems to have a hatred with them, this time he will just be dropping off the adventurers and leaving. Lupe smiles to Rea not knowing what all happened in the tyrants castle. Ace puts his hood over his head to block out the sun as he casualy reads his book. Decemi just smiles at his new armaments perhaps this was the first time he ever had weapons like this, he has been used to fighting with his fists but perhaps it is bringing back old memories with him using weapons like this. Decemi's outer layers of armor was darker and was very cut up all over showing his former grey armor layer underneath.
The group got closer and closer until they could see a shimmer of white in the desert and they could see the big gleaming Chrome walls. As they got closer it got a little bit cooler as there was snow falling down around them and before long they enter a winter wonderland in the center of the desert and arrive right outside the walls of the very small town in big tall and thick, shining metal walls and get to the gate.
Chizen stops his cart and waits outside the closed gate "Alright everyone off unless you want a ride back to Tenzor." The group takes what loot they want to carry and get off to stand in the snow and look around. Decemi wields his sword and shield, Ace closes his book and lowers his hood to let the snow fall on his hair. Lupe looks around, unsure if she wants to get off or go back home.
Lupe stands tall and smiles to Rea "Come on lets go!" After everyone is off then Chizen drives off into the desert away from the snow. Ace asks "Alright what is with all the snow?"

Rea set her grey eyes to the snowfall. She grew rather stunned to see the white snow in the middle of the dessert. She yawns again as she jumps of the cart and looks to Lupe. Rea rubbed her face as she shook her head of the white snow from her own white hair. She yawned again her long braid already a mess from the wind. Her hair layed on her shoulders and her strong form showed a rare femininity. She sighed as she looked to the place then to Lupe. "Hey Lupe are you going to be okay in this cold? Frankly I do not like it myself, but im want to make sure you are warm. " she said with a laugh as she turned around to Lupe and hugged her as she looked to Ace.
"So Ace were to? since I have never been outside my side of town. " she said with another laugh as she turned to them as the cold wind whipped her hair about. She looked to Lupe again with joy and ready for their new adventure. "So Lupe would you like to braid my hair back later?" she said with a chuckle.

Ace looks at the big Chrome gates "I wonder who's heaven this is." Lupe hugs Rea "I should be fine."
The big doors shake the ground under the adventurers feed and begin to open a tiny bit and light shines out of the gate and shatters through the morning dim. Ace covers his face with his arm, Lupe burrows her face into Rea, Decemi stares past the light. The doors only open a crack and stop. In the distance can be heard "You idiot! Open the small door!" Ace looks to the others and back to the big doors. The far out yelling from the other side of the wall continues "See that lever? yeah? yeah! not the big one! the small one!"
Ace crosses his arms and waits in silence. Ace looks back and forth "No...we were called for..." The goblin interrupts Ace with his loud voice "No! Idiot I mean interns are tough to work with! obviously you are all here to see the high council about something important right?" Ace nods "Yeah..." The goblin pulls a clipboard from his back- pack and writes something "The Lurisca crew right?" Ace nods "yeah." The goblin writes some things "Welcome to Chronos"

Rea looked to Lupe as she heard the commotion going on from behind the doors. When the goblins came out and others in the chrome armor she looked to lupe. She gave Lupe a strange look hearing the two of them arguing. She whispered to Lupe."are they serious?" she said under her breath looking to them as she nearly closed her eyes from the blinding chrome armor.
The goblin welcomes the adventurers and stands inside the door giving them all passage in, Ace goes first then Lupe and Rea. Decemi stands before the small door and clearly can't fit. The goblin looks to Decemi "Man you are big! Wait here." The goblin goes inside the door with the adventurers to some empty chrome walls with towers on the ends, shooting out snow from the top. There seems to be nothing in the wall what so ever besides a check in station and the floors are made out of metal and covered in snow like everything else. The goblin yells "Open the big gate!" Another voice yells from one of the towers "The big one?" The goblin facepalms and yells back and fourth to the other person. A section of the metal floor begins to slide open and flashbacks of golems rising from the floor come to mind. A massive elevator rises and a dark skinned human woman stands in the center wearing what looks like a white labcoat and trenchcoat all combine to make a white uniform coat. She smiles and waves to the adventurers "Hello adventurers. My name is Sorna. I will be your guides through our lovely city, none of you have been before have you?" Everybody sort of shrugs and Ace goes to speak up when the doors shake the ground and the big doors open up for Decemi. Ace looks back and then to Sorna and sighs "None of us know anything about this place Ma'am...." Sorna nods "Well I am here to show you..." Decemi steps up to the woman after entering the gates and looks at her. she continues "All... that Chronos has to offer while you are all welcome by the council." Sorna smiles and steps back on the elevator and allows everybody to come aboard "Everyone hop on, we have a trip down." The adventurers step on the platform.
Rea looks back to Decemi as he tries to get into the small door. She snickered a bit and then looked over to the Goblins yelling at each other again. Rea rolled her eyes almost in a way she expected the goblins to behave in that manner. She let out a sigh and shook her head, she then watched the metal floor sliding open and the elevator coming to the surface. Rea nearly jumped back ready to draw her blade from their last adventure. She looked to the Dark skinned woman and tilted her head almost confused. She then straightened up hearing Ace speak ant then hearing the woman would be the guide through the city. Rea shrugged and assumed it wouldn't be so bad. Well that until her stomach growled, out of embarrassment Rea pretended it never happened. She looked to Sorna as she introduced her self and waited for the tour to begin.
Sorna smiled after everyone was on the elevator and pulled out a button on a wire from a nearby console and she pressed the button and stood there smiling as nothing happened what so ever before pressing it a few more times. Once the button had worked then the elevator moved downward at a changing speed of descending slowly or quickly. Ace and lupe were both upset physically by this movement and stumbled around as the adventurers traveled down into the depths once more.
The lift reached the bottom and around the tour group, work was going on. Humans and goblin in all sorts of outfits load large mining drills and other machinery into a large dug out tunnel. "Please excuse the commotion, our workers are working on clearing out more space for our new sector." Sorna says then smiles to the tour. Ace looks around not understanding this place much "New underground sectors for what?" Sorna looks to Ace "For our living of course. We currently inhabit one and a half sectors, all dug out spaces in the rock below, to keep our people safe and easily cooling us underground, I do apologize for the lack of cooling thus far, not many people stay in this sector long enough for it to be a problem..." Sorna walks forward and the tour can see three tunnels overall, Sorna points out these "These three tunnels lead to the three sectors we have in Chronos, The senate is in Sector one." Rea let out a sigh as she felt the elevator lurch downward, she was used to this sort of thing. But once she saw Lupe stumble she careful braced her and then looked around as she saw everything was underground. She rolled her eyes and groaned, she was going to be underground yet again. and frankly she hated being underground, It reminded her too much of her drow history. She then looked to see the goblins busy minning out the cave and hearing Sorna explanation of everything cleared it up . And Frankly she didn't notice the temperature differance at all. Well she did considering the sun wasn't scorcing her grey skin at least under ground it was a lot cooler.
Ace asks "So how do you people get air down here underground?" Sorna leads the group to the next lift and calls it up "Long ago our people united with the people of the underwater city Aquaris, They gained special orbs that allowed everyone in the city to breath the same air without running out. We use the same orbs even now with our underground cities." Ace look to the others "So we are breathing the same air we will continue breathing until we leave?" The lift gets to the top and has someone on it. Sorna nods to Ace "Yes." A pale skinned gnome walks from the elevator in nice silk clothes and a cane with a bald head with hair on the sides of his head and he walks out with his cane "Kids around here learn that before they turn five." The gnome passes by Sorna. Snora looks back at him and then forward. She then gets on the lift and everyone joins her. Ace looks over to the gnome with an insulted look on his face.
Rea jumps upon hearing another voice behind them hearing how they got air. She let out a yelp and jumped onto Decemi seeing the Gnome and then crawled back down. She let out a pant and then continued to listen."Ah yes kind sir, but we are not for here so we do not know much. But it is intresting that is how you breath the same air." she said curious as well."
Decemi grasped Rea in his arms with his sword and shield still in his hands, no danger to Rea but an inconvenience for Decemi before she crawled down. Ace jumps and gets a bit startled by Rea's jump and yelp. Sorna watches the silly group as she presses her button connected to the lift, waiting for the lift to work. Everybody makes their way onto the lift, the gnome walks away to do other things. The lift takes the tour down to Sector 1.
As the lift lowers the tour down, glass separates the tour and the city and Ace looks out the window as they go by "Woah." The city below spans out in a big dome with moderate sized buildings made of chrome, metal and stone, painted various and lovely colors. Streets of metal, metal trees. rails along the streets, moving around the city, people coming and going factories pumping out smoke. A huge hexagram shaped building stands in the center of the dome with colorful glass tiles on the roof, changing color for each roof tile. Lupe looks at the strange but beautiful city with a gleam in her eyes "Wow!"

Rea let out a calm sigh until she saw the gleem of the city, alonge with Lupe Rea's eyes were glued to the brilliance of the city."wow it is so pretty and beautiful. and you guys built all of this Sorna?" she asked as she turned to her curious.
Sorna smiles to the tour group "Well...yes? in the lat fifteen years we have all of this built and everyone settled in and we have been working on hallowing out other area's for more sectors." Ace's jaw drops as he hears this "In fifteen years?" The lift gets to the street level and all sorts of people in unique clothing walk the street. Sorna nods to Ace "Yes, it took us a while being so far away from our other cities but we produced it quickly enough."
Rea's jaw dropped as well when she heard Sorna speak of building the city in fifteen years. In all honesty she expected it to be longer. She turned to her and then looked to her."that is still quite amazing. Just fifteen years, in all honesty i was expecting a lot longer and larger of a number. It amazes me." she said still looking around speaking honestly.
Sorna steps off the platform onto the metal, snow covered streets and the snow crunches under her feet." Lupe looks up and asks "How is it snowing in here?" Ace says "let me guess, more orbs or something?" Sorna smiles to Ace "That's the one." They walk through the street and Lupe and Ace shiver "Man it is cold..." Humans walk the streets in dapper clothes and hats for cold weather. Sorna motions around her and speaks out loud "This is the Noble Quarter." Sorna motions to the left to a quarter of the dome with nice houses all along the street with a large building in the center. "With many of our nicer housing and home of 'The science' workshop and research center."
Rea looked around as she began to shiver clovering her body as she moved closer to Lupe putting an arm around her. she smiled and shivered more her teeth chattering."well aparrently we are severly underdressed for this kind of weather but it still amazes me that you are able to not only have a city of chrome and yet to have it snowing as well.
Ace raises a hand and asks Sorna "You mean a science workshop?" Sorna shakes her head no "No I mean 'the' science, it is a certain organization and a branch of our society, all about research and development for us all." Sorna motions to the right to the other nice looking houses in the other quarter with smoke coming from the whole area. "This is our Regal industrial Quarter. Nice housing and the whole area is full of great inventors from 'blast'." Sorna walks over to the Right to the quarter and looks around the corner "Maybe we can find a...oh!" Lupe follows along "A what?"
Rea carefully walks along as she looks over to Lupe and Sorna. She was rather curious of evertying and still was rather curious."So this "science" is an organization. Oh how intresting. so what esle is around here in this regal district?" she said growing more and more curious.
Lupe look around the corner and tilts her head "What is that?" cheering can be heard from a ways away. The tour all goes around to see a few people in top hats and goggles and dapper clothes and others in old worn leather armor and helmets, they all circle around this performer in green. Ace walks closer and lupe hides behind Decemi whom simply follows Ace, Sorna smiles and seem very amused at the man juggling balls in a green jester outfit making a bunch of clanking sounds. 
Ace looks closer at the performer as the performer spins his torso around and swaps his juggling objects from balls to knifes. The crowd ooh and aah at the excitement and the wonders. Ace jumps back "He isn't even alive!" Decemi says "It's a robot." Lupe looks up to Decemi from hiding behind him "Like you Decemi?" Decemi looks down to Lupe "I'm not a robot." Lupe stares at him in silence. Ace keeps his eye on this jester robot juggling knifes and then he moves his feet up and down in an awkward dancing style and spins both with his feet and turning his torso by his hips and then he swaps out the knifes with what look green lit bombs and the crowd cheers and more people start showing up. Men, women, children, gnomes, goblin, everyone seems to enjoy this performer.

Rea looks to the robot in amazement and at the same time she grew disintrested. After all if it was a robot then there was no real danger to himself. Rea was half tempted to kick the robot out of the way and do it herself. But she shook her head as she watched the robot juggling the knives.
