The Genre Mascot Art Contest has been judged. BEHOLD YOUR NEW GENRE JUMBLE!
Easily our most packed jumble ever, with 15 different characters (plus a treasure chest). These gorgeous critters, warriors, regency ladies, cyberpunks and etc. will represent their genres with pride on our homepage for the next year.
In alphabetical order, our winning artists were:

I want to thank all of the artists who competed in this year's genre mascot contest. Every year I have to go through the heartbreak of setting aside deserving and worthy mascots who simply don't fit with the rest of the group for one reason or another, and this year was no exception. I urge everyone to browse the competition thread to see ALL the incredible entries. You won't be sorry!

Oh mah Gawd. Love them sooooo much!!!!!! I hate my cell phone, it won't let me make the the whole jumble my background. If I try, characters get cut out.

There was a lot of variety and creativity this year that made me supremely happy. It reflects a community of talented people who can not only write, but even sometimes illustrate their stories.

I am so madly in love with this jumble. Everyone did an amazing job. It's so colorful, and the composition is so perfectly balanced. There are so many adorable interactions too. I'm especially fond of the fairy grabbing the dragon's wing!
