Around Noon this day, a furious growl was rumored to be heard by the neighbors of a one Ser Rexington's apartment. In response, a Raven could be seen fleeing from his window and to none other than the Blockade.
A few hours later, soldiers were noted coming up from the camp, two setting up post at the Knight's door and a few more doing regular patrols around the town in pairs. Often seen chatting to each other, they are rather mute when it comes to questioning as to their presence or the sudden absence of the manx in town.

- The soldiers are ordered to arrest anyone that mentions Rexington being poisoned.
- When approaching his door, the guards there will stop anyone from entering without good reason, and in order to enter they need approval from the Knight himself.
- The patrolling soldiers are not entering homes or other buildings just yet, and they rotate out at night for another set of guards the next day.

Just after sunset, Ser Leander was rumored to have enter the Knight's apartment and left shortly after with his sword drawn. An officer was seen following him as they patrolled the town. Some say they wandered for hours, others shortly. One thing is certain, there were two arrests made.
Hagar Darkwind and Athos Philokales were apprehended by the Knight and soldier and brought to the jailhouse. On what charges wasn't said, but the general thought is that the charges were trumped up or non-existent. Any visitors heading to the courthouse are screened and allowed in for short periods of time.

- Questioning of the guards as to why they have been arrested will be met with snark, "Mind yer business!" more often than not.

The gossip around the settlement is that one of them confessed to their crimes. Another says that they are both being tailed by soldiers so that they do not try to escape. All in all the Gaols are empty again yet the soldiers remain and there was whispers of what punishments lie in store for the 'assassin' in the night.
