    Lycans ARE NOT WEREWOLVES.

    Lycans are cousins to the werewolf.
    They carry werewolf blood but ONLY have a WOLF FORM.

    LYCAN STATS:

    WOLF MODE

    • High Sensory
    o Olfactory
    • Sense of smell
    • Lycan nostrils were so keen- fear, lust, love and even a lie could be scented.

    o WEAKNESS – Scents that are too great can cause the user to be literally sick and even in worse cases it causes seizing and convulsing.

    o OTHER SYMPTOMS: (vomiting, fainting, anxiety, convulsion, suicidal thought, self-harm, difficulty breathing)
    • Pesticides and gases can cause these symptoms in extreme doses
    • Lycans can also have other heighten senses fail

    • Auditory
    o Sense of hearing
    • Lycans can hear 30 miles away if focused – this skill can be unlocked in sections ( 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 miles at a time)

    o WEAKNESSES - Activating this skill has to be used in a silent spot or risk of bleeding and ruptured ear drums
    • Only fully matured Lycans (can use this skill)
    • Age 50

    o OTHER SYMPTOMS: {Pending}

    • Somatosensation
    o Sense of touch and temperature
    • High pain tolerance (due to shifting abilities, they suffer pain daily/when shifting/learning to)
    • Shifters suffered the worst imaginable just to transform. Their breeds are highly known to be resilient to agony
    • Lycans have ‘hot’ body temperatures

    o WEAKNESS – Sweating through tongues – as most canines do is their only way of cooling their bodies down. Lycans do not do well in HOT temperatures and can suffer sensory overload.

    o OTHER SYMPTOMS: (vomiting, fainting, anxiety, convulsion, suicidal thought, self-harm, difficulty breathing)

    • Gustatory Perception
    o Sense of taste
    • Lycans can sense ‘emotions’ through their tongues (coupled with their ability to smell lies, love) – this makes them perfect hunters
    o Berserker Mode
    • Lycans are known for going into a blind rage – or hunt mode/tunnel vision. Like any good hunting dog – Lycans are obedient and stay on task until it is done (such as killing).
    • This causes them to fight until the death due to their blinding loyalty to their king or alpha/clan.
    • If a werewolf releases the scent of their own berserker mode; Lycans instinct are to attack upon sight – willing to kill till their alpha is safe at the cost of their own life.
    1. Lycans will listen to their alpha’s no matter what in this mode
    2. Greatly enhances strength, stamina, and adrenalin
    3. Appearance of a Lycan in Berserker mode are: (foaming at the mouth, dilated pupils, shivering, snarling, untamable rage)
    4. During Berserker mode a Lycan is almost immune to pain and loses focus of surroundings as its prime target is on its mind
    5. When in Berserker mode, a Lycan has to be in a calm state of mind to transform back

    o WEAKNESSES – A Lycan in Berserker mode can forget their surroundings easy, and therefore become forgetful of landscape
    • Berserkers were very effective killers, but could not stop killing at will. Which means a Lycan could kill their OWN kind even after its target is dead. In the Lycan world – this means the brain of the infected becomes lost and they must be put down at any cost.

    • Athleticism
    o Strength
    • Bite Pressure: 800 PSI
    • (Note: it takes 1700 psi to break a human femur bone)
    o Agility
    • Lycan’s can run at a constant speed of 60 km/h
    • TOP SPEED: 80 km/h (only sprinting for 5 km)
    o Stamina
    • Lycans have amazing speed and sensory stamina, they can access this anytime without penalization.

    • Appearance
    o Size
    • 4ft (shoulder – paw)
    o Weight
    • 300 lbs

    • Special Abilities
    o Claws
    • Claws can extend outwards to 4-5 inches for fighting (they aren’t able to extend when running as they get in the way)
    • Claws are usually 3-4 inches normally

    • Education
    o Regeneration
    • Lycans regenerate at a quick rate, they can regenerate flesh and bone but not if the limb is severed completely off. For example – a tongue cut out will not grow back, nor would a hand or a head.
    • It will take Lycans a full 10-15 minutes to regenerate a large open wound and their blood will steam as it knits together.
    • Lycans if able to go to school, will be sliced and cut open on purpose to test their limits and regeneration period.

    o Wisdom
    • Only some Lycans get the chance to go to school at the University of Fenrir if talented enough they will be educated as ‘Alphas’ blood would. (Some of these Lycans are rewarded status for high contributions such as money, headhunting, family, etc)
    • Lycans are wise and pick up on things quickly – as they are meant to be a scout or a pawn for their alphas, they are educated to be quick, manipulative and deceiving.
    • Lycans are taught at a young age they are ‘lower’ species and are to follow the laws
    o IF THE LAW IS BROKEN BY A LYCAN – their tongue will be cut out, this is so they will suffer heat damage every time they shift into wolf form.

    • Shifting
    o Lycans can shift at will

    o WEAKNESSES: By doing so, they lose more and more of their sanity since shifting is stressful on the body and mind. The more the Lycans use this skill the more vulnerable they are to insanity and are to be put down if this is the case.

    • Lycans are hot-blooded creatures, they overheat easily and use their tongues to cool off. Their blood is hot because of the regeneration (see education) aspect of their bodies.

    o Allergies
    • Like their cousin werewolves, Lycans are allergic to silver, but also do not break out in an immediate reaction to it. The silver can touch their skin without consequence- but when digested, it can be fatal.
    • Lycans are easier to kill than werewolves by normal means (guns, swords, arrows)
