I'm very happy to announce that we currently have two items in our group treasury that you can win! I know you're all most likely busy with Christmas gifts (because I am too), but fret not - the due date for this contest is January 31st 2015 and an extension can be given if more time is necessary.
Nerdy Knits Contest
We all love roleplaying and perhaps even gaming and certain tv-shows and movies featuring our favorite heroes. What better way to celebrate our love than to knit?
The aim of this contest is to knit or crochet any item that is related to roleplaying, games, tv-shows and movies.
For example: a Doctor Who scarf, a Portal Companion Cube, an Iron Man hat and so forth. The difficulty level of the item is for you to decide. It can be as basic as knitting a plain Harry Potter themed scarf in red and yellow or as extravagant as a Wonder Woman intarsia sweater.
How do I enter?
Simply post pictures of your WIP and/or finished piece in our contest topic found here. Please let us know what you're making!
How do I win?
Regardless of skill level and experience, everyone who submits a completed piece of an approved theme automatically has the chance to place. Dice will be rolled to determine two winners, who shall each receive an Oil of Epicness (good for 1 month of Epicness!).
Please note that, while we don't expect a 100 hour sweater as an entry, we do expect some effort. A hastily made item with less than 30 minutes in it would be unfair to include among entries of people who put numerous hours into their work.

This is just what I need to force me to start working on my Ravenclaw scarf! I have all the yarn, but I just haven't had the interest in getting started on it!
