    The Commander began his career in the year 3200, having inherited a ship and a small amount of money from his recently deceased grandfather. This gave him the opportunity to escape the frozen planet of Merlin, in the Ross 154 system.

    He quickly managed to build up a small fortune trading before embarking on more dangerous adventures on the fringes of known space. Finally, once he had enough money, he bought an Imperial Courier, equiped it to survive long periods of time without landing and headed out into the uncharted regions of the galaxy.

    Eventually, he gave up a life of space trading, settling on the planet Hope in the Gateway system and had a son with a woman he met and married on his travels.

    This is one of the first characters I ever roleplayed. It was for the game Frontier: Elite 2, which I played obsessively when I was younger. There was no storyline, so what I liked to do is imagine my own as I flew about, coming up with an assortment of characters he interacted with and adventures he'd have while docked in a space station or landed on a planet.
