• Biography

  Hayden lost him mom at the age of 5 to a break in. The men who broke in didn't see Hayden hiding, or they would have killed him as well so they could have their perfect crime. When the police came to the house, they tried to talk to the boy, but he wouldn't speak. He just kept looking in the direction of his fallen mother with wide eyes. He was then taken to the hospital to ensure he was alright. As he was being seen, they looked for his dad or any other family, but they found no one, and Hayden was put into foster care.
  
  At the age of 7, he was bouncing from home to home. He was violent, and no one seemed to be able to tame him.
  
  At age 10, he would run away from the foster houses and go live in the woods until the police found him. In the meantime, he would beg on the streets for food and hide from every patrol car. He didn't attend school regularly while he lived in the woods, but he rarely made it longer than a few weeks before he was found and dragged back to the various foster homes. When he was back at the foster homes, he was forced to go to school.
  
  When he was 16, Hayden ran away for the last time. The foster parents didn't even bother to report him as missing. Hayden moved into a hotel, which was nice enough to have a kitchenette. To pay for his room, he did whatever the hotel owner asked of him even if it was less than legal, like selling drugs. He regularly attended high school, using the hotel owner's address as his permanent residence. He graduated even though everyone questioned if he would since he often found himself in trouble from getting into fights with other students.

• Supernatural Setting

  Hayden is a human, but as a young teen, he was drawn to a buried sword that was in a field. After digging it out, he and the sword seemed to become one, and he has powers because of it. He is not only able to wield the sword expertly without having prior knowledge of swordplay before this incident, but he is a lot quicker when it is in his grasp. He can also teleport without the sword being in his grasp or near him, but it makes him rather tired afterwards, so teleporting is always used as a last ditch method.
  
  **He does not always use the sword to fight with. He likes fist fighting quite a bit.
