It was a biting cold day Felicie was brought home, and they say she didn't mind one bit. It became clear why once she was old enough to speak, often begging her father to take her to the icy city of Snowbelle(to which he would almost certainly oblige). Sure, it was where Memere and Papere lived, but more than that it was her winter wonderland. She loved how white it was, the way snow and lanterns set the world aglow, how much better a warm meal tasted after a long day building snow castles. Most importantly, however, she adored the ice. Her two older brothers were content just flailing around playing hockey on it, but she wanted to master it. Her desire only increased tenfold after catching a band of performers so gracefully and effortlessly dancing upon a frozen arena, made even better by the highly trained pokemon working in tandem.
"Like straight out of a fairy tale," she thought, glowing with admiration.
That was her dream, she decided. Much to her brothers' chagrin, when her passion showed promise their parents became just as obsessed. It started small -- less money for toys, to afford classes -- but quickly changed everything when it was decided they would move to an entirely new region to help Felicie cultivate her talent. Relations grew tense, especially between the siblings. While her eldest brother, Bellamy, learned to accept things and maintain an okay bond with Felicie, the other, Noel, did not.
