The kingdom of Tirian is not well known. In fact, it's hidden away practically in the boonies. A large enough island for thriving life, yet.. Boring for most. What the island CAN boast about is gems, minerals and various products right from the sea. Relations with other kingdoms are quiet- but then again, they've been doing their business for ages this way. No one really talks about the place.

The royalty of Tirian is beloved, keeping peace and relations smooth. 'Jerome'.. Is not royalty. He in fact grew up in the middle-end of the kingdom, helping his mother with making quilts and his father with his business of selling jewelry. 'Jerome' himself did not make jewelry with his hands- that was his father's job. No. 'Jerome' helped with bringing in the materials that were either traded for or bought, as well as helping to ship them out. As for the quilting, really, he just held the materials for his mother while she worked. So boring. In his spare time, he sewed up clothing that needed to be mended for his family and himself. A skill taught by his late aunt, which he had mastered after some time.

'Jerome' needed a change. A different life. He had heard traders speaking of an island far off. He wanted a taste of utmost freedom from work. After all, he'd spent most of his life with just that. Packing clothing, as much money as he could carry and a few belongings, the young man stowed away on a trader ship headed for the next island and found himself at.. Guilderheim.

A new island meant a new life. A new life meant he could be whoever he wanted. Truth be told? Jerome wasn't even his real name. Whatever his real name was, he'd likely never tell.. But while on the island, he had decided happily to call himself Prince Jerome of Tirian and start spinning his web of lies.

How long can the lies last before they catch up with him?
