  • Water Bending ____________________________
    The ability to manipulate water in various ways-- a very typical ability of her people which allows them to preform all kinds of interesting aquatic feats. Opal has learned to use her water bending in some unique ways:
    ✦ Able to use water to 'jet' herself forward at impressive speeds both under and on the surface of it.
    ✦ Able to create a 'haze/fog' to obscure her presence if she needs to travel above the water.
    ✦ Able to create a 'bubble' around a non-aquatic person, trapping oxygen around them to let them survive under water. It lasts only for as long as she is able to concentrate on it, however, these bubbles do have limited supplies of oxygen and do build up with carbon dioxide as it is exhaled. Recommended not to be used for long dives.

    The ability to influence the natural restorative properties of another being to mend itself back together at an accelerated rate. This also allows her to improved self-healing, and immunities to most toxins and venoms. Opal also has some more specific abilities in terms of healing:
    ✦ Able to alter her own saliva to not only nullify the venom of males of her species, but to also temporarily share her natural immunity to most other toxins and venoms. Allowing a victim to potentially survive. This gift immunity will wear off in 48 hours.
    ✦ By manipulating the water within a creatures body? Opal has learned to compress certain pressure points within the body to coax people to relax for relaxing therapy and sleep. Making her a popular to visit for those that suffer from such things as insomnia. In an emergency? She can try stimulating areas of the brain such as the hypothalamus to try get a creature to pass out.
    ✦ Using the above ability? She is able to place others in to a 'stasis' like restorative sleep, combining a technique of manipulating pressure points to try slow their heartrate to prevent them from bleeding out while their body repairs. This stasis is temporary, but there have been very rare cases of people unable to wake up from the coma. As if their bodies healed, but it may have been too much damage for the consciousness to survive. She will ask people to consent to this slumber if they are able, due to that rare side effect.
