Rangifer

Notes; Rangifer is designed to be whimsical, fun, and overall easy to be around. She is supposed to be loveable, but unattainable; confident, but down to Earth -- a best friend that is like a lover without the eroticism. She is from an open family dynamic; many caretakers for the younger generations. Communal in both family and in social settings, territorialism missed her entirely. Rangifer is the kind of doe that will shamelessly tuck that stray hair away from a stranger's face and behind their ear, just to be kind. She is warm and playful, intending to enjoy each moment for what it is -- a moment.

"Qalipu," among a few other names she may respond readily to if called, is a free sort of spirited doe; not to be mistaken for delicate southern belles. Restraint is for the cautious, of which she lacks in greatly, boldly speaking the thoughts that should probably remain as only passing whims. Autumn born fae of the forest, familiar with the homebred and civilized; decidedly not for her spirited ways.
Though she is almost never truly shy, or any sort ashamed, it is the cringe-worthy thought of penetration that has kept the doe tight legged. Confrontation of the subject itself is a fantastical idea, one that can be discussed and painted with words, but the act of these natural interactions will be without her participation. It wouldn't be any more fair to assume the same sex would have any different outcome; but at least assumable that maybe commitment is the aversion altogether -- without trust, it is a quirk to remain a mystery.
The common question that will always come up, what she does to make a living, will simply be met with a shoulder shrug and dismissal. This is a terrible icebreaker to any prospective relationship, with meaning beyond a touch'n'go, and for a many born of the natural forest - it is decidedly unimportant. To be a chef would mean to withhold a natural shedding process, no one likes fur in their soup. Healthcare would mean sanitation -- and again, this is difficult with fur of any kind. She will smile, maybe, bat her pretty doe eyes and happily carry on the conversation without a beat to be missed. Perhaps she will offer her skills when necessary, untapped wisdoms and forgotten secrets of a world abandoned for modernisms and domestics.
