  • this populated place of mannequins and statues perpetually stagnant, lifeless, and colder than the height of cold season. civilization has never felt so uninviting; to spite all of its efforts to feign beauty of symmetry and articulated design, there is nothing that could compare to the unfettered creations of the natural. home has never felt so far away, and still only be a few stones from comfort altogether. it would be easy, would it not be? tip toe away from this growing culture simply because you miss home, learn and help no one as you so gleefully planned.
    still, it would feel so good to just go home.
