Vanyel Threpp

A bright, enchanting smile graced the lips of a man whose appearance was... too perfect. A beauty that was unnatural to the point that it was uncanny. His was a visage that was difficult to describe, each viewer seeming to have different experiences with him. Few things were truly uniform with all descriptions, however; his hair was the color of fire, not red, per say, but warm and enthralling. His eyes were the color of the forest in spring, dark, bright, and ever dancing. And the fact that he was human. While he may not have come from wealth, he carried himself as if he had. Fine clothes, expensive instruments, and immaculately groomed. One could almost mistake him as a noble's eldest son.

Vanyel's features were ethereal, as if an artist had attempted to take the best features of his kind and blended them together. To some, it may have even been grotesque, too bizarre to find comfort in. High cheekbones, a somewhat square jaw that maintained some level of softness, and long lashes made the build of his face, lending to a near boyish charm. Fiery hair tumbled from his scalp, left in an impossibly thick, unbound, wavy mane. Finally, atop his head, was a large, wide brimmed hat, adorned with a singular and vibrantly red feather from some large bird.

The man's frame was that of a swimmer's; lean and willowy, hinting at some acrobatic talent... aside from broad shoulders that seemed to stand out more in contrast to the rest of his figure. He was without scar or disfigurement, judging by the bare chest that could be seen past his waistcoat and the largely open shirt he wore under it. Most often, he dressed in blues with a pair of well taken care of boots. A single weapon lay across his hip, a silvery longsword held within a brown scabbard of ornate design. Rings of gold and silver decorate long, slender fingers, each possessing a gemstone of unique colorations, each with it's own imperfection somewhere within the cut.

His garb would be out of place... anywhere, truly. It was not made of ordinary fabric, instead it had seemingly been enchanted. Shimmering patterns changed with the seasons or with his whim... When green, it seemed to favor the vague hint of a dark forest, leaves and birds trailing across its surface in full animation. While blue, it depicted a gentle stream with brilliantly colored fish swimming through the threads. Red most often came with the visage of a campfire and smouldering embers trailing across his figure, though it gave off no light. From this, one could easily name him an entertainer. Across his back was a hurdygurdy, made from redwood and ivory. Below that was a wooden violin case, and upon his hip, opposite the sword, was a lyre.
