• Permanent Afflictions: Myotonia Congenita - A disorder that affects the skeletal muscles, which are used for movement. When the muscles are voluntarily contracted, such as in the act of running away from a potential threat, the relaxation of the muscle can be delayed. This leaves the muscles rigid and renders the animal unable to move. The reaction is typically caused by a myotonic goat being spooked by, for example, loud sounds or a sudden movement. The sudden stiffening of muscles as the animal attempts to flee sometimes causes them to fall over, which looks a bit like they have fainted from fright. While in their rigid state, the goats are practically helpless. The muscle stiffness doesn't last long, only about 5-20 seconds.

• Demeanor: Loud and out spoken, she has a short fuse. Sensitive about her 'Medical Condition,' she is desperate to earn respect as a skilled swordswoman. Has trouble accepting compliments and making friends. Socially awkward.

• Quirks:
  • Screamer - She screams at literally everything. Happy? Scream. Scared? Scream. Angry? Scream. In Love? Scream.
  • Faints Easily - Her 'medical condition'. When surprised or startled her muscles seize up, rendering her incapacitated for 5-20 seconds. See Myotonia Congenita above.
  • Tail Wiggles: As annoying as she finds it, her little tail will waggle uncontrollably when she is happy, angry, scared, excited or about to attack someone.

Personal Effects:

• Child's Training Sword: Small and light weight, a steel weapon usually intended for a child to practice with. However, due to her small stature, this sword perfectly compliments her size and build. Blunted edge has been honed into a fine blade.

Did you know that the gene that causes myotonia congenita is recessive? Meaning an animal needs two copies - usually one from its mother and one from its father - to suffer from the condition. So when Tennessee fainting goats are cross-bred with other goat breeds, they typically don't pass on their condition.

Unfortunately for Vapors, she was the only one in her herd to suffer from this condition and thusly was picked on by the other kids while growing up. Constantly teased and bullied, was she anyone else the lifetime of torment would have made her a neurotic, anxiety-ridden mess. However, for Vapors it forged her in fire. It made her stubborn, aggressive and unapologetic of who she was. It ignited a drive within her to become everything they said she was not. A Fighter.

Life has not been easy for the doe, do you have any idea how hard it is to get others to take you seriously when you are as small as her? Then add to that her medical condition? Let's just say our girl is looking a little hungry, and more than a little ragged.
