Idavollir Field Report, Week 3

  • Reporting: Maetrix Amelie Laveur
    Recipient: Argent Order Master of Records

    Major injuries treated:
      - Complete thoracic collapse, resulting from high velocity blunt impact. Ribs and sternum fully reconstructed along with interstitials, diaphragm sealed, lungs reinflated and repaired, heart repaired, major thoracic hemorrhages repaired. Patient made full recovery within two days.
      - Massive thoracic trauma due to concussive impact and sharp metallic intrusions. Intrusions removed, ribs and sternum rebuilt with interstitials, lungs repaired and reinflated, heart repaired, major thoracic hemorrhages repaired. Patient also exhibited symptoms of concussion, but thaumic interference prevented accelerated treatment. Recovery complete within two days. (See enclosed Report: Islington.)
      - Thoracic and spinal destruction and cardiac removal, caused by mammoth tusk goring. Patient was resistant to magical treatment, compatible heart was constructed for implantation via physical surgery. Patient's native regeneration rendered assistance efforts unnecessary; partial recovery completed within 30 seconds of magical stasis having been released.       - Minor thoracic collapse caused by concussive impact. Sternum rebuilt and numerous rib breaks repaired, along with minor repairs to lungs and heart. Patient recovered in less than a day. (See enclosed Report: Ljos.)
      - Moderate full-body burns and systemic circulatory damage caused by disruptive attack and resulting self-destruction of tiny machines embedded in patient's blood. Epidermal and circulatory damage repaired, patient made immediate physical recovery.
      - Numerous epidermal lacerations of hand and arm up to elbow, penetration into muscle layer; caused by disruptive backlash of Silver medical analysis spell. Self-repair initiated once disruption was over, recovery 100%. (See enclosed request for replacement robe sleeve and Argent Geas Collar.)

    Enclosed reports contain numerous insights into the physiology of the local physical gods, gleaned from the brief medical fleshcrafting study of local examples. Also included is a report on a dragon whose alien physiology lends credence to his claim of being of extraterrestrial origin. Much could be learned by studying them, many potential strides forward in regenerative therapies.
