As a trainer, Aki favors an eclectic mix of Faerie and Psychic Pokemon!

Aki has nine foxfire sprites, or will-o'-wisps, one for each tail--they are more commonly called Ghostfire. They are darling fire spirits with a childlike nature. Each one represents the aspects of emotion: love, joy, surprise, fear, sadness, anger, disgust, shame, pride. You can tell which one is which by their expressions. They have the ability to blip in and out of the spirit world with ease, and send messages. The aspect of Sadness has a tendency to bury into Aki's tail, and sleep there. Each one has their own personality, but when called to fight or protect, they turn into monstrous fire demons!
