• Biography

  Baran was once a knight, a defender of the weak and innocent of Kasuria, gallivanting hither and yon on quests for the realm but that all has come to an end.
  
  The Alicorn had journeyed to Albion, a bit of a pilgrimage to see the land of such legendary knights and deeds of the past as well as just taking a well deserved vacation from his duties which is when he first met his future Mistress. Baran was taking in some of the local entertainment and witnessed a ballet performance by the Countess Delancy, which he quite enjoyed, but apparently he was also someone noticed from within the crowd...
  
  During the voyage home the ship bearing him was raided by pirates. Baran fought bravely, but in the end he surrendered: a lovely lady, her name never known to him, was being taken by a pirate to be enslaved and held hostage when he approached. His code would not let him endanger the lady so he offered himself, with the promise of a ransom for his return to Kasuria, to free her... a ransom, that many years later, never arrived.
  
  Fed up with the negotiations for his return taking so long the pirates instead sold Baran to an interested buyer, an unknown individual who remembered him from that ballet performance and sought the Countess' attention. Delivered to her door in the dead of night and only in slave silks, his new life awaits!

• Appearance

  Baran is quite tall, nearly seven feet in height, and while previously muscled his years of captivity and lessened exercise have led to atrophy and a much slimmer form than he is used to.
  
  While capable of shifting forms, the former knight defaults to a mostly humanoid form, fur-less and almost elven in appearance other than his lengthy tail, wings, and horn.
  
  His jet black hair has been cut short, his formerly long mane of hair gone much to his chagrin. The alicorn's eyes are of an emerald sheen that is quite striking and lively. His tail trails on the floor, the same jade green as his horn, while its fur is the same light shade of purple as his wings which hints at the colour his more animalistic form would be.
  
  While used to different attire, Baran is currently clothed in baggy style pants, a low cut shirt that shows off a bit of his chest, and a vest. About his neck is a white leather collar with silver trim, a large sapphire at its throat set in a socket to make it appear like the sun, and a series of moonstones around to the back mixed sapphires depicting the moon phases with a Full Moon acting as the latch.
