· note: a caretaker of the mythical and executioner of humankind. it can be unforgiving to those that wander within its expansive territory or that hunt those that belong within its inner circle. eons have passed and the beast has quite a few various and lasting relationships whether it be from the queen of the unicorns to the reign of the most powerful dragon.
note: it will refuse refuge to anything that smells mostly human. scents like that can be tracked unless the unknown proves itself a captive or of no harm. it had been fooled once before and will not make that mistake again. it learned a trick of the trade from a dragon but instead of using its nose, it uses its whiskers. if they remain neutral, there is no threat. if they spark or twitch, it will attack without a second thought.
note: its companion is the wondrous and magnificently well-spoken Grimoire B., a mystical book filled down the spine with arcane magic, bestiaries, and geographical locations. an odd pair but the Behemoth looks to the book with its earned respect. it is but only a small handful of things or creatures that it will listen to. though the grimoire can protect itself, the beast always watches it with an eye open.
· note: when it knows that those it protects are safe, it will travel alongside the colossus which has made its home with the beast as well. they share an unusual relationship. centuries ago, these temple giants were torn down and savaged for the minerals and crystals within. it withheld knowledge of the future and power. the last one was saved.
note: it eats nothing but vegetation which the unicorns, or other creatures, find easy to replenish in exchange for a safe haven. it only uses that jaw to tear its foes apart but it won't eat them like it had before. the only two beasts it might consider eating are the two made to destroy it in case they battle. the two are far more myth than it is since once soars the skies and the other swims in the ocean's depths.
note: it has several survival skills like swimming and slithering through the woods to keep it unseen. it cannot be seduced by normal means - it is taken by charm and personality. It loathes anything human-like but it has shown sympathy to those being a byproduct of human experimentation or entertainment purposes. however, hybrids or anthromorphs are not allowed within the haven, only feral.
