    He had always been a large imposing male; his obsidian pelt with shining green markings set him apart from other wolves. He was smart, cunning and very aware of everything around him; every step seemed to be mechanical and calculated. Maybe it was a gift, or a curse but Bend was gifted the biggest heart one could imagine a wolf having. Something was strange in the noise he made when he moved, there was something special about him, was he a scientific experiment? Under his fur, was a secret. One that only few knew, and that he would only share with those closest to him.
