  Personality: Benedict holds a deep distrust of most everyone, and this colors his interactions to the point of pushing the majority of people away. The very few who have managed to see through his bitter veneer are treated with a surprising loyalty (and perhaps clinginess), though his ability to display friendliness or affection comes and goes according to the shifts in his deep-rooted insecurity. He can be quite childish when he wants attention, and though he's made progress in his ability to interact with people, there are plenty of social rules that he just doesn't quite grasp yet. When stressed about his inability to relate to others, he gets very down on himself and angry with society at large. Most of the time, he finds it isn't worth the trouble, and he hides out in Kit's house or sits alone in the tavern to watch other people talk.
  Aside from that, he is beginning to find a latent creativity in himself, and an ability to do things beyond waiting for life to be handed to him.
