    A youthful lion with crimson hair. Originally a slave to Bocca, Breyde has since kept tabs on the boy and has maintained a mostly steady relationship with him. There's an attraction there, one that Breyde knows is inappropriate, and yet whenever they are alone and in the midst of one another's company... those flames heat up all over again. Often, Breyde serves as a confidante, an adviser, and someone the boy can trust. It is difficult to determine what their relationship truly consists of at this time.

    Lover? Friend?
    Pirate, philanderer, incurable "lady's man", and yet such drastic differences are in no way capable of overshadowing their uncanny similarities. Emotional connection was found one fateful evening during an encounter initially meant to be a verbal bashing of Bocca's short-comings and mistakes involving family and a mutually-known slave. Somehow, though, Breyde managed to bypass the polecat's initial nastiness, earn a few heartfelt words, and then a sudden and highly unexpected kiss was bestowed upon him. Since that night, Bocca has since risen to a status second only to his children. A shared secret, a heartfelt confession and subsequent promise have resulted in such an unlikely pair to form. And yet Breyde is likely to be the happiest he has ever allowed himself to be. Update: No longer in contact. No longer involved.

    Divorce Lawyer; Wife. Victoria was sought out in the midst of his divorce with Catriona. Initially, their relationship was purely professional, but as Breyde has an extreme issue with remaining a Bachelor for very long... he accepted a contract of marriage involving her not long after his divorce was finalized. They function as a well-oiled machine; the wife supports her husband and he takes care of her. While a fondness is there, emotions remain largely outside of the entire relationship. It suits both of them just fine. Update: They have since agreed to a divorce.

    Lady Catriona McKenzie.
    This woman came to him on the evening that the funeral for his younger brother, Oakes, was to be held. Prior to it, Breyde received word that there was an individual desiring to hold a conversation with him concerning a business venue and, given the Patriarch's endless desires for coin, he grudgingly agreed. When the audience took place with Catriona, it ended on a note that she certainly had not been expecting! Due to conflicting circumstances concerning her departed ex-husband's estate, she was in desperate need for protection from that of her greedy brother while she sought a husband so as to maintain her former's assets. It was Breyde, however, that offered her protection and then some! Eventually, the pair agreed to enter into an arranged marriage so that he could likewise benefit from her accumulated assets. In recent days, however, it appears that the pair grow closer than anticipated so hopefully their union will become an amicable one. Finally, after what has seemed like ages since the pair's unexpected betrothal, Breyde and Catriona are now officially husband and wife. Divorced.

    Trusted(?) Slave.
    This woman is the mother of his twins, B'jor and Laska, and is also his prized slave and "shadow". She is an elegant wild woman with an inability to speak proper common given her background amongst a tribal civilization. This female was his most trusted companion, as she stood by him during a time where he needed her most, and will likely hold her near and dear though never permanently close. After his amnesia developed, Salbati still remained though he had no idea who the wild female was. Due to her lack of understanding pertaining to his condition but because Breyde held proof of her purchase as well as the obvious traits his children shared with her, the Patriarch kept her near. Unfortunately, their relationship has shifted. He views her as his slave, alone, and she cannot grasp why he treats her so differently now. In order to teach her a lesson in obedience, he has released her to the Tether under a rental status. The trust he lost in her due to an event he is not quite willing to yet forgive her for will hopefully be earned back once she realizes her position as a slave and begins to act the part anew. She is still his slave, after all, and will still be treated as such given that such was actually preferred on Salbati's part as well. All in all, she is an irreplaceable companion despite their current division. (NPC; Remains at Breyde's estate to care for the twins.)

    This Sunleu has made a lasting impression, the woman immediately found to be someone in need of his utmost attention. For now, her true needs and desires are unknown but the Patriarch recognizes fear and uncertainty when he beholds it. Somehow, he has been magnetized to her, a sort of Paternal view arising nigh instantly. While transparent to the Patriarch, she is yet complex and it fascinates him. He must have her, his suspicions regarding her status as freed essentially cast aside. He would win her over, yet.

    This woman was originally noted to be quite attached to his younger brother, Wilfred, and vice versa. Because of this attachment, Breyde purchased the girl as a gift to his sibling only to find out that a few days later she had been returned to the pens. Growing cross that his gift had been returned without first consulting with him, Breyde took it upon himself to re-purchase her for himself. She has great prospects as a slave, for she is obedient and strives for perfection. She will be a great asset to the Beorne family.

    Danjel Jakob Beorne.
    An unexpected meeting between himself and this youth has left the Tom' completely perplexed and somewhat hesitant to continue meeting with him. However, after extensive proof was given in regards to his relation to the Beorne family and specifically himself, the Patriarch has decided to welcome him accordingly. Needless to say, Breyde has had quite a bit on his mind. [More to come]

    It is truly hard to say what first began the unusual companionship of the lion and the tomcat. However, considering the numerous events that have taken place in which both have supported one another through, it is safe to say that Breyde views Viro highly and thinks of him as more than a mere acquaintance. With the return of the Patriarch's memory, he has naturally recalled every meeting and the reasoning behind why he thinks so highly of him. He's a trustworthy, loyal, and genuine friend that has seen him at his lowest point just as Brey has seen him at his. It is hard to locate such friendship in difficult times and yet it appears that the tomcat has managed.

    Younger sibling, and likely his closest brother at the moment, this fellow is what every Beorne should strive to be. Granted, he has had his snags along the way, but like all men he has persevered and overcome each and every one of the obstacles tossed at him. Breyde, of course, adores the fool and is apparently admired by Wilfred greatly. It is something he is not completely used to.

    Wilfred's Fiance.
    What started off as an intense dislike, as she was originally viewed as "unworthy", has blossomed into a trusted relationship. Anae is the glue that holds Wilfred together, and that in and of itself is reason enough for Brey to like her. After an incident involving his sibling's idiocy, he realized just how perfect she was for him...and took her, and her unborn child, under his wing. Ever since, he has viewed her as family and he hopes that she views him in a similar light. [Deceased; RIP]

    Blond Beorne.
    One of the youngest of the Beorne brothers, this fellow looks up to Breyde as though the Patriarch were his father. Seeing as how he practically raised the kid, it's no surprise that he views him this way and ultimately, the Tom' feels very paternal over him. The young man is a regular heartthrob despite his elder brother's amusement in thwarting those efforts. After all, as far as Brey is concerned, the lad's only just hit puberty and will therefore always be his "baby brother".

    Yet another example of one who adores Breyde. Once again, this lad has been raised by the Tom' and continues to be looked over. He is a genuine sweetheart with a heart of gold. Needless to say, Breyde's got a special place in his heart for the baby of the family.
