Always Pokemon! This one's obvious, though, as Brecht is a Pokemon Trainer. I'd like to point out that I don't really use levels in RP, but I may include them in the descriptions as sort of a reference point. Short Posts I don't particularly mind how long your posts are, but I'd rather not read a ton of huge paragraphs that basically consist of nothing. I don't really have the time or patience for it anymore. I'm most happy with anything ranging from one sentence to a paragraph or two. I'll try to match your length, but I also normally only include what I feel is required for the current post. Whisper RP I'm insanely shy, and I prefer to RP in whispers. I may respond in the Furcadia window if it's small one liners, light-hearted socializing, etc, but if I don't, I apologize. I'm not trying to be rude. Sometimes I just freak out if there's a large group of people around. If you want to RP with me, I'd also prefer to discuss it in whispers first. |
Yes Fighting Personally, I'm not the best at fighting, but Brecht is a trainer, so it's bound to happen. Mature Not sexual. I'm talking about cursing, blood, and death, more like the manga version of Pokemon. If you don't want any of this, I'll be happy to keep it rated G, but you'll need to specify, because this is my default mode. |
Maybe Sexual RP Only for plot/character development/etc purposes. To me it's just words like any other RP is, but I won't engage in RP that is ONLY sex, because I don't care about that. I require some sort of substance in my RP. Will be a bit difficult to get me to do this in a Pokemon setting, though. |
No Underage Sex Do I even need to explain this? IC = OOC It's weird. I can never tell whether I'm supposed to be answering IC or OOC when people do this sort of thing. Please stop. When you first whisper me, I expect you to be OOC. Godmoding/Power Playing I wish I didn't even have to put this, but alas. Basically, don't tell me what my character is doing, and don't bring out something that is incredibly OP just to get yourself an easy win. I get that Brecht will get his ass beat sometimes, maybe even every time, but pulling out something that can dodge and land every hit just so you can have a victory that you didn't actually work for is uncalled for and only fun for you. I'm a bit more lenient with you telling me what's going on with my character, since there may be scenes that require it, such as when you're setting up or if he's possessed by yours or something, but please refrain from doing so if it isn't needed. |
Complexion: Somewhat tanned, freckled on face and shoulders A scar on his temple, hidden under his hair from being struck by a rock that his Larvitar Kaiser smacked back at him during the taming process A few small scars all over his hands, arms, and possibly in various places on the rest of his body from his Pokemons' claws or rough skin He may also have scratches and scrapes at any given time Build: 'Hourglass' figure, relatively slender but good muscle definition from being in the water often, short torso and long legs |
Hair: Sunny Blond Eyes: Turquoise Height: 6'0" Weight: 180 lbs Voice: Kirk Barsby |
REND
Brecht's first Pokemon, and the most reckless. Rend was the Magikarp that Brecht was allowed to pick from the Dragon's Den, chosen specifically for the haphazard demeanor he immediately displayed. He very much enjoys thrashing about and would rather just tear through his opponents like prey, but listens to Brecht's orders purely out of loyalty. However, if not allowed to do as he pleases every once in a while to get it out of his system, he will start becoming antsy and aggressive.
His fins, including his tail fin, are ripped and shredded in various places and have been since he was a Magikarp. |
BLADE
Blade was caught after Brecht left Blackthorn for Cherrygrove, the trainer opting to go that route specifically to catch a Skarmory. After a few days of Brecht's camping, searching, and generally loitering, Blade attacked the trainer to repel him from the territory. After a rigorous battle and a few broken Poke Balls, the bird finally submitted to the trainer's willpower. He is as serious about proving his strength as Brecht is and is the one voted least likely to laugh at a joke.
There are quite a few dents in the armor that makes up his skin, but nothing too severe as of right now. Chances are, he'll shed the dented armor and grow a new set eventually, anyway. |
PHANPY
Phanpy began to follow Brecht around shortly after he caught Blade, crying out for what he assumes was either her parents or attention. He tried to ignore her until she followed him all the way to Cherrygrove City, where he finally gave in and added her to his team. He doesn't use her for much, so she remains a Phanpy. One of her habits is picking things up and hiding them, attempting to play 'fetch' with the owner of the item. Unfortunately, most humans can't understand when she tries to give them a hint as to where she hid it.

SCORCH
Met in the Johto Safari Zone while Brecht was on his hunt for a Larvitar, Scorch was an unplanned addition to the team. Out of a small pack of Houndoom that the trainer stumbled upon, Scorch had the largest, most impressive horns. Figuring that he was probably the alpha and the strongest of the pack, Brecht trailed him for a few nights until he wandered away from the others. Naturally, the battle to catch him was a tough one, but the Houndoom submitted once Brecht proved that he wouldn't back down. Now that he's on the team, he is submissive and motherly towards the others, especially Phanpy, leaving Brecht to wonder whether or not he actually was the alpha.
His fur is a slightly more reddish color than the standard Houndoom. He also has huge horns that are more akin to a ram's. |
STING
Met in the Johto Safari Zone as a Skorupi.

KAISER
Kaiser did not come easily. The reason Brecht ventured into Johto's Safari Zone at all was to catch a Larvitar, and that he did, but not without searching for many hours and spending at least a few hundred bucks. The fight to add him to the team was a tough one, as well: the little Larvitar was not having any of the trainer's crap at first, even knocking the stones and balls that Brecht threw back at him and hitting him in the face a couple times. Eventually, Brecht figured out that giving him his now favorite food did the trick, and after a good few days of feeding, won him over with Mocha-and-Razz-Berry-flavored pokepuffs.

CHOMPER
Got in a trade from someone who couldn't control her. As it turns out, he can't control her very well, either.

CHIP
Obtained from a breeder as an egg, Chip doesn't see battle as often as she could due to her careful nature, which is just fine by her. Unlike most Druddigon, she does not enjoy hurting others unless it is absolutely needed, and since her skin is rough and dangerous to the touch, she tries to take extra care not to damage others more than necessary, even when she does have to fight. Brecht keeps her around simply because she looks badass... that, and he isn't sure that she could survive in the wild if released, although he would never admit to the latter.
She enjoys wearing cute things such as bows and flower crowns and can often be seen in something of the sort. |
BRUISER
Met as a small Sandile with very few teeth, Bruiser obtained his name from biting his trainer a few times and leaving bruises rather than puncture wounds. He has a very bad habit of wanting to chew on everything, especially if it's new to him, not unlike how baby creatures want to put everything in their mouths. Brecht has learned to buy chew toys for him as most of his teeth have grown in since then.
Usually missing at least a couple of teeth, if not more. |
