• Bio

  -the girl never knew her parents. She was left with an orphanage as an infant, without even a name to call her own.
  
  -Around the age of 7, hard times fell on the once well-funded orphanage. the one who ran the orphanage was a half elf called Ciara, who taught the girl elvish, among other things, and always encouraged kindness and doing the right thing. However, kindness doesn’t put food on the table, so the girl took to picking pockets and stealing food.
  
  - As she grew older, she discovered that she was blessed with not only nimble fingers, but a silver tongue as well. Somewhat interested in her heritage, she learned a bit of magic from Ciara, but this endeavor was severely limited by how much her teacher knew. On the shadier side of her life, she hid her thievery from Ciara, not wanting to disappoint the half-elf as she dove further into the criminal underworld.
  
  -Eventually, despite still being too young, she left the orphanage for fear of tangling them up in her messes. She sent much of what she earned on the street back home, but never visited.
  -The girl ended up a killer for hire of sorts, specializing in ending the less-than-lawful for the less-than-lawful. She worked with others often, acting as a scout more often than not, and thus rarely ended lives herself.
  
  -one day after returning from a job in another city, The girl received a message promising revenge for a recent hit, signed only by an odd mark.
  
  - that night, the orphanage was burned to the ground. No one made it out alive. The cause of the fire was unknown to most, but a familiar mark left in the ash told the girl what had happened.
  
  - through her own investigation, she found that the one she’d offed was part of a small thieves’ guild. Instead of taking their lives herself, she took the indirect route. She’d had dealings with them in the past, and knew where the thieves’ hideouts were, when the meetings were held, and the names and descriptions of the leaders. Thus, on her way out of town, she simply anonymously informed the local adventurer’s guild and the proper authorities, and left the rest up to fate.
  
  -It’s been three years since then. The thieves’ guild that had burned the orphanage broke up, though how many are still alive is a mystery to her. Luckily, no one had realized it was her who had ratted them out, She’s traveled a long way, staying out of trouble. Since she had no one to blame but herself for what had befallen her home, she’s since tried to step away from the criminal side of things, but old habits die hard. These days, she tries to stick to bounty hunting or odd jobs rather than killing or stealing. Keyword: tries. However, the work’s been starting to bore her as of late . . .
