• A Wandering Fellow

  Born into a world constantly changing. From the moment he could walk he found himself ‘assisting’ in his father’s caravan that traveled the known world in search of goods and wares which would then need to be brought about to a location of need. The more need, the happier everyone seemed to be... well most of the time. This find something, sell something became something of a game for young Cedric, who grew into quite the fine player of this strategically planned game.
  
  Trust was a liability, or was it an asset? Depends on who you trust and who trusts you. Years flew by and little by little the young man was worn into an older traveler. Nothing ever said that age had to keep you down though, and Cedric never was one to settle down. As a merchant he became adaptable, a personality for every situation and a smile for every individual. What that smile might have behind it just depended on how he was feeling at the time. Remember, keep your lies consistent.
  
  Consistently observant, even getting older in age didn’t dull his mind. He was quick, both in wisdom and in actual physical reflexes. He preferred the spoken word over a physical fight but against all odds he could hold his own still. A standard of twin straight short blades was his primary, but he was a specialist now. Over the years of sharpening his mind he began to work with others in the design of clockwork gadgetry, some of which he keeps on his person for special surprises to those he deems enough of a threat. Maintaining this equipment helps keep his mind honed and even as a salesman would be hard pressed to sell some of these secrets.
  
  In order to sell product, one must acquire product. Even though he is often followed with calls of “aren’t you too old for this crap?” he is often found neck deep in trouble scouring the local ruins or marketplaces for something worth picking up and selling. Moral conscience be damned, if the profit was right, the job didn’t have to be. But somewhere in this dimmed to grey silver eyes was a slight light which sometimes escaped in odd almost un-businessman like ways. Keep everyone guessing, makes you... and maybe your wares, more interesting.
  
  There is a desire to return to living on his ship The Sovereign, a sloop-of-war class, with a few deckhands that change every so often depending on the port... and how irritated he gets with them. As is his nature he tends not to frequent one location for too long and wanders about the known world with no real goal in mind... just keep making sure that after seeing the sun set, you see it rise again. Repeat.
