Tobias Crowe

Psychopomp
Tobias has a strong attunement to those things having to do with death, decay, and the afterlife. He is capable of sensing when someone is near to the end of their life, and he can see, hear, and interact with spirits of all sorts. He is fairly powerful, spiritually, and can force most unruly spirits to cross over, or otherwise banish them from an area, though his strength in this department depends on the individual spirit and how close he is to one of his places of power. In places where another power rules, he may struggle to do this, or to use his other abilities.

He is also incapable of inflicting 'decay' on objects and living things via his touch if he so wishes. A car he touches may begin to rust where he touched it. Plants may begin to wither or show their autumn colors. Living things may begin to rapidly age and break down-- though the larger the plant, animal, or person, the more time and energy it takes to do this. A rat might shrivel and die, but a human being would take longer, and stand a greater chance of reverting back to normal once Tobias ceases to touch them. Sometimes it may take days, but unless Tobias is really after seriously hurting someone, normally most people will slowly revert to their normal selves. This power can also extend to spells, hexes, and curses, breaking them by 'decaying' their bonds, though it really depends on the type of magic.

These powers also extend into the past, and Tobias can cause someone to think of events from their past by touching them, or can project memories hidden in places and objects into the world as a realistic illusion so that everyone may experience them.

As a creature of the twilight season, Tobias is weakest during spring as a result. Places where new life is abundant may cause his abilities to weaken as well, though as he has a less extreme dynamic with the Spring tesseract than the Summer has with the Winter, these effects are not uncomfortable for him. It merely means he usually has to do things the hard way rather than relying on his powers.

Mist & Shadows
Tobias can use the dark places of the world to travel and interact. He can grow existing shadows and step between them as a way of 'teleporting'. He can solidify them into grasping arms and gnashing teeth if they're thick enough. He can even use the darkness to dream-walk, as shadows touch upon the realm of dreams more than the light-- though he doesn't nearly have as much power as the Winter tesseract in this department, and his powers within dreams mostly extend to observation and speaking rather than directly influencing dreams, though he can enable someone to begin lucid dreaming if he'd like.

Strange Omens
Tobias is and never was human. His own shape in this world is a mask of his true self, and thus malleable. He exists on a higher plane of existence, interacting with the world as we might with a bit of paper. Since he and the rest of the Tesseracts bound themselves to physical forms, this power is often limited outside of his own places of power now, such as the Cirque or graveyards, but he still has quite the range that he uses both for unsettling those around him, and more practical purposes.

Outside of his places of power, Tobias's influence is mostly restricted to himself. He can shapeshift, and often does, taking on the form of a large crow most often, though a black dog or horse, or a small, purple eyed toad are also favorites. Sometimes he will transform himself into a dark, shadowy mist in order to slip in between cracks or through pipes if he wants in somewhere or he's being dramatic. He can technically alter his form in other ways, growing or stretching limbs or altering facial features, though for some reason, Tobias does not often do this.

Not being human, he doesn't need to sleep, breathe, or nourish himself as humans do, though Tobias has often been observed to take part in these activities just for the fun of it. He has quite a sweet tooth, in fact. He's also a little bit stronger and faster than most average people, though in his case, it only extends to what would be the equivalent of the top bar of what most normal people are capable of. He does not, however, tire.

Within his places of power, specifically the Cirque De Lune, Tobias's abilities are much stronger. He can bend, though not break, reality to his will, though where the line is and what the rules are are often fuzzy. De Lune runs on wonderland logic more than what you might find in the real world, and the line between reality and dreamstuff is finer here. In this place, he's also capable of taking on a shape closer to his true form, which can be difficult to look directly at. Most people see it as an immense, dark bird, with many wings and heads, all spiraling in on one glowing eye at its center. The moon above De Lune on occasion also seems to go out and reappear without any clouds present, as if some great beast were blinking an eye. It's best not to dwell on either shape, frankly.
