  Here's where it gets a little complicated.
  
  Essence Draining and why it universally works on your character:
  
  Please note, that this skill is part of Crowe's overall design, is very important both to myself and to the character. Know that I will never use this ability unless it is entirely necessary, and that I will NEVER enact a permanent debilitation (such as death for example) on a character unless it's what the other players WANTS.
  
  The ability is not Magical in nature, is not Divine in any way nor is it Infernal or Demonic. It's not Necrotic, it's not Voodoo, it's not a lot of things. It's an ability. Take that however you want to.
  
  Why Crowe's Essence Drain works on (almost) everyone/thing: Everything is kept alive and moving by SOMETHING, it doesn't matter what, something is keeping the body moving,and the mind working. That is why Crowe's ability is to ESSENCE Drain, not LIFE Drain. There's a huge distinction between those two abilities.
  
  It shouldn't matter if you're, a person, a construct, even the undead aren't safe from Essence Drain. Even you immortals can't be immune to essence drain because you have a life force, and it can be eaten away at until there's nothing left. IF you feel like arguing any of these points with me or if you feel as though your character doesn't fit these criteria then please WHISPER ME ABOUT IT! I am a very open minded individual, but know that I will argue my point as well.
  
  Essence Drain Requirements: Crowe's skin is the activator, awake or asleep it doesn't matter. If there's a skin to skin contact the essence drain will begin until contact is lost. Please note whilst a full on Essence Drain is not instant it is a snowball effect. I will post as things go what should be happening.

  Armblade & Gauntlet- The seemingly useless hunk of black metal Vehga keeps on his hip, holstered into a set of clips strapped about his thigh. The Gauntlet he keeps on his right forearm slides into a cylindrical set of groves and locks and when twisted attach his grip to the inside of the mechanism. From there, the runic markings allow for the releasing of the actual blade in what could described as a brilliant and merciless pneumatic reaction. Also doubles as a fantastic paperweight.
  
  

  Katar (Sidearm)- Though this is his sidearm it's wielded in the more dominant hand contributing a greater deal of strength and quicker movements. One would assume the blade, which comes to a particularly thin point, slightly longer then your average hand blade as well, is for parrying or for deflection of blows.
  
  

  Mythril Bloodruned Shortsword x2- Just some of the gifts he's received for throwing his life on the line. These short swords, designed, fabricated, and etched in Bloodrunes by a dragon are perfect tools for the silent killer Vehga is capable of being. Their Mythril design makes them wonderfully light and equally as dangerous allowing all forms of natural armors, leathers and lighter steels to be punctured. The Bloodrunes on the blades, when willed by Vehga, allow for an acute obfuscation rendering senses of scent useless and helping to blur Vehga's actual image. If perfectly still, he may as well be a ghost.
  
  

  Mythril Bloodruned Throwing Daggers x4- Gifts also made by the same dragon, these mythril-edged and well balanced throwing daggers rapidly became a key facet of Vehga's daily arsenal. Two are kept hidden under his jacket on his lower back and two others are kept hidden on his legs, specifically in his boots. The Bloodrunes on these malicious devices allow Vehga to silently call the dagger back into his grip from sheer willpower so long as he can visually see the dagger.
  
  Armor
  
  

  Everyday-Though hardly considered proper armor Vehga does wear leather about most of his body everyday. For all intensive purposes his jacket should be considered your basic studded leather armor. He is mostly unarmored otherwise as cloth and fabrics makes up most everything else on him. All in all it allows for the range of movement he requires and has pockets.
  
  

  Clawed and Spiked Boots-A gift from a fellow assassin, these black boots are usually kept on and as such they're hardly unnoticeable. They're made for scaling and climbing that's for certain.
  
  

  Clawed and Spiked Glove- Another gift from the same fellow, this glove, when Vehga feels the need to wear it on his left hand only, is made for climbing and scaling as well.
