Dimun's last name is lost to time. As a servant of Kelemvor, he simply goes by his title.

His bald heard and scraggly beard are rather distinguishable.

RACE: Human
Humanity is a far spread race. In the reckonings of most worlds, humans are the youngest of the common races, late to arrive on the world scene and short-lived in comparison to dwarves, elves, and dragons. Perhaps it is because of their shorter lives that they strive to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Or maybe they feel they have something to prove to the elder races, and that’s why they build their mighty empires on the foundation of conquest and trade. Whatever drives them, humans are the innovators, the achievers, and the pioneers of the worlds.

DEITY: Kelemvor
Fair yet cold, Kelemvor is the god of death and the dead—the most recent deity to hold this position, following in the footsteps of Jergal, Myrkul, and Cyric. Unlike these other deities, whose rule as gods of the dead made the afterlife an uncertain and fearful thing, Kelemvor promoted that death was a natural part of life and should not be feared as long as it was understood. As a result of his deep respect for life and death, he holds the undead in the uttermost contempt.

Dimun follows in Kelemvor's beliefs. While he believes that everyone has a time to go, it doesn't mean that those suffering from disease or unjust attacks should simply perish. To appreciate death one must life to the fullest, and so Dimun will heal those who require it rather than glorify the end of things. Dimun's main job however is making sure that those who died get a proper burial with the respect they deserve and rooting out the foul undead.


CLASS: Cleric, Grave Domain
Clerics are intermediaries between the mortal world and the distant planes of the gods. As varied as the gods they serve, clerics strive to embody the handiwork of their deities. No ordinary priest, a cleric is imbued with divine magic.

Divine magic, as the name suggests, is the power of the gods, flowing from them into the world. Clerics are conduits for that power, manifesting it as miraculous effects. The gods don’t grant this power to everyone who seeks it, but only to those chosen to fulfill a high calling.

Harnessing divine magic doesn’t rely on study or training. A cleric might learn formulaic prayers and ancient rites, but the ability to cast cleric spells relies on devotion and an intuitive sense of a deity’s wishes.

Clerics combine the helpful magic of healing and inspiring their allies with spells that harm and hinder foes. They can provoke awe and dread, lay curses of plague or poison, and even call down flames from heaven to consume their enemies. For those evildoers who will benefit most from a mace to the head, clerics depend on their combat training to let them wade into melee with the power of the gods on their side.

As a Grave Cleric, Dimun is a gatekeeper between life and death. He seeks to teach the populace about their and its role in life. He makes passing easier, aids in mourning and ensures people are ready for the afterlife. But most of all Dimun is a protector of the living. Unnatural death is a cancer that must be rooted out!


BUILD: Average
Though not frail, Dimun is not a broad man. He's muscled, but not toned, nor is he the tallest. Dimun stands at 1 meter 78.

AGE: 33 years old
Humans age quickly compared to most races, only reaching an average of about 70 to 80 years. Dimun can no longer be considered a young adult.

HAIR: Very short, practically bald, brown
Dimun shaves his head on his own. Sometimes it ends up being patchy and unkempt. His beard he tends to let grow bushy and wild. Sometimes, when he feels fancy he lets his beard grow long and braids it. This is quite rare, though. Dimun doesn't care enough about his appearance to really take care of his hair.

SKIN: Pale, lightly ruddy
Dimun is a pale man by nature. He sunburns easily, leaving him ruddy. Sometimes when he is out hunting the undead or performing certain rites he wears facepaint modelled after a skull. Sometimes one can find traces of said paint still on his face.

EYES: Grey
His eyes are a dull grey that no matter what have no shine to them. Some say before his devotion to Kelemvor they used to be a vibrant green, but those are just rumours.

ALIGNMENT: Neutral Good
Death is neutral, no matter whether you're rich or poor, male or female, good or evil, in the end we all face the same judge. That said, the morality of Dimun leans more towards the good side of things. Having lived the life of a bandit before he found the clergy he has a hard time ignoring injustices. If he can offer aid in any situation, he will.

PERSONALITY: Fair, calm, tends towards gallows humour
Dimun is a man who seeks justice and serenity above all. The graves he tends are quiet and he always seems busy. Yet despite his dark profession he is surprisingly jovial. He enjoys a good conversation over cold ale and hot food as much as your average person. This is because he has no fear of death, a mindset he likes to instill on other people.

Because of this his sense of humour can be rather dark and off putting. He means nothing by it, but when you deal with corpses all day, it's bound to happen you try and find the humour in it. That said, Dimun is a man of conviction and passion for his work. He is a good friend to have, even if his conviction tends to turn into an obsession instead. His hunt for the undead and fiends that might disrupt the natural order tends to cloud his mind and judgement.
