Donnie

This species is created specifically for this character and his creation method. Do not assume you know anything about it just because the name could have possibly been seen in books/movies/etc. I threw it all together on a whim when I first created Donnie. I do not claim it to be like any other race out there because it's my own creation. I chose the strengths and weaknesses to fit my character for his particular storyline.

NOTE: This species has nothing to do with the 'rank system' of most dark creatures. Don't assume that Donnie is going to be the weakest thing on the totem pole just because the name suggests he's something tiny. A darkling, as I've defined it, is more or less the essence of darkness manifested into a being. He's a shape-shifter and freely changes between the shapes he's 'learned'. He's not 'possessing' a 'host' or any of that mumbo jumbo. He does NOT have to 'answer to' devils or demons or any of those beings because he doesn't fall in the ranking system at all.

TLDR: He is, bluntly put, a ball of darkness that can shift forms.

Obviously the ability to shift forms.

*Dark arts
Magic use.

*Musical combat
He can use music as attacks or defensively.

*Audiographic memory
Replicate any sound heard. Also the ability to change his voice freely to match anyone he's heard speak enough.

*Sound based magic and spells
As stated with musical combat, Donnie can, in a nutshell, bend sound/music to his will

*Teleportation
Speaks for itself, limited to places he's already been

*Musical Prowess
The ability to easily learn to play any instrument he picks up.
