    The pooka, is primarily a creature of Irish folklore. Considered to be bringers both of good and bad fortune, they could either help or hinder rural and marine communities. The creatures were said to be shape changers which could take the appearance of black horses, goats and rabbits. They may also take a human form, which includes various animal features, such as ears or a tail.

    According to legend, the pooka is a deft shapeshifter, capable of assuming a variety of terrifying or pleasing forms. It can take a human form, but will often have animal features, such as ears or a tail. As an animal, the pooka will most commonly appear as a horse, rabbit, goat, goblin, or dog. No matter what shape the pooka takes, its fur is almost always dark.

The player seems well aware that the simplest of gestures can have many conflicting meanings, which is just PERFECT for a fae. Looking through, the character looks like he'd be great fun, too, balancing rules and absurdity excellently.     He's a shapeshifter due to his pooka nature and is able to take on several animal forms, one furre and one elf form. His clothes are part of him as well and he is able to change into the different forms at will, albeit with a sneeze.

      Jack seemed pleased so far with what I’ve accumulated. My memories of my time in the Northern Heavens… the money I’ve made while selling baked goods.

      “This is enough I suppose… to allow you some of your memories back. Not all of them of course. But perhaps I’ll give back your ability to retain memories,” he told me.

      The ones I’ve traded away were his to hold. After all I was at his mercy.

      “You’re a lot more resourceful than you seem… getting around the limitations and geas I’ve placed on you… making use of the wish magic to retain information. I am thoroughly entertained.”

      Dealing with the fae is always a bad idea. More so when you’re bound by their laws.

      But the Laws keep us honest… or as honest as we can be anyway.

      I’ve been in the heavens for a while now. The memories are his to hold and examine… but now they’re mine again. Perhaps I will start a new life here once more.
