• Kinetic Adsorption

  Without physical modification, Erich (unknowingly) has an innate ability to conduct and store kinetic energy like a battery of sorts, although no psionic talent was ever displayed prior to his cybernetic modifications.
  
  Earlier in his life, victimized by migraines, it was discovered that the most effective treatment proved to be constant pressure via direct positive psionic pressure to his head. Instead of dispersing normally through cellular metabolism, this energy has remained stored and this initial accumulation may be considered the catalyst for the further advancement of his power.

• Echelon Implant

  This curious implant is a credit-card shaped unit on his left arm with a small LCD screen and a couple of unlabeled buttons. It's not considered one of his cybernetic modifications as it is not linked to his neural network.
  
  The implant in his arm's original designation was that of a chrono-assault defense mechanism, originally allowing him to act as a barrier against time-based assaults with the intention of protecting the time-space continuum from outside interference, granting the opportunity to travel backwards through time in an extremely limited window, as well as acting as a private line of communication with other members of the squad to which he belonged that was outfitted with similar devices.
  
  Currently, both the time traveling and communication aspect of the implant have apparently been lost and it now seems to act as a direct amplifier for Erich's developing psionic capabilities. This is due to a closed-loop in time-space contained within the device itself. At one point, the implant had been damaged and Erich subliminally attempted to transport one of his old comrades, his lover, to his side out of sheer desperation shortly after his cybernetic modifications in an amnesiac state. She had her own high-grade psionic abilities, and quickly overrode his attempts to teleport her in a chaotic release of his own accumulated kinetic energy. She appeared to him for just a moment in the ensuing chaos, her image suddenly became a focal point, allowing him a new plan of action -- attempting to teleport himself to her... In response, she easily repelled him, a psychic "bitchslap", if you will. She also used her own power to seal the implant, but not completely, for the end result of the violent energy exchange in their brief struggle created an anomaly within the device, and soon after Erich realized he had the ability to siphon off this distortion, granting him a fraction of his former lover's powers. This is also a fair explanation for Erich's inability to receive messages via telepathy and cause electrical interference. Due to the nature of the implant being deeply routed into his brain and nervous system, for all intents and purposes, he himself has become a time-space anomaly.

• Psionic Abilities

  The main ability demonstrated by Erich has been limited telekinesis. Although the ability at first had barely allowed him to levitate screws and glass fragments, his power is now quite capable of crushing a soda can, although levitated objects may shake and move with very poor and un-coordinated control. It can be assumed that this power may grow over time if he is given the opportunity to attempt mastering it. Overuse of the ability or use in magnitudes he is not yet comfortable with will hurt him.
  
  His secondary ability is teleportation. This ability is also severely limited, only allowing him to "jump" less than a meter in any direction. The process is also not entirely instant -- it requires him to "step out of time" and then "re-insert" himself. These planar shifts are assumed to have some involvement in his unique pigmentation.

• Musculoskeletal Enhancements

  Cybernetic enhancements include:
  
  - Multipurpose interface port set into L4 of spinal column, allowing direct access to machinery via in-optic UI.
  
  - Optic enhancements allowing for minor brightness and saturation adjustment and limited night vision.
  
  - Hydraulic stabilizers integrated into the remainder of his upper femur and ribcage to counterbalance the weight of his mechanical legs, taking partial responsibility for his enhanced strength and durability.
  
  - Rotator cuffs replaced with ball joints and internal muscular stimulation system allowing enhanced upper body strength. This is especially useful so his arms are not to be dislocated due to the normally-unmanageable weight of his mechanical legs when hanging, for example.
