    Despite her dark and sad past, Lilo has always been spirited and highly eccentric girl, which had always made her seem weird to the other girls, making her a target for bullying. However, still treating them as friends, she makes further strides of being a light in the dark, as she adopts her soon to be best friend, Stitch, a genetic experiment from outer space who she mistakenly mistakes as a dog. Lilo was also a highly disobedient child, as well as a fierce scientist in the pursuit of knowledge of her world, and exploration of other worlds. Lilo can be both emotionally strong, but at the same time sensitive, shown at times when Stitch's destructive nature destroyed her family home, ruined her picture of her parents, and almost got her sent to a foster home.
