Shapeshifting
N A T U R A L ↣ Grey's natural form, the one he was 'born' in at the dawn of his existence. Takes the form of what mostly resembles a large, feral-form sphynx. This form is usually taken when his mana is too low to maintain a hominid form.
C A S T E R ↣ His most often used appearance. This is the form as described above, an anthropomorphic sphynx. He spends most of his time in this form as it is most useful to him here.
Human Glamour
Grey will appear as a middle-aged middle eastern man with dark, curly hair and honey brown eyes. His tattoos as described above are also present and he will have the same general build as his caster/anthropomorphic form.
While the above forms are physical changes, Grey's human glamour is nothing but a complex illusion. It affects the touch, sight, and hearing of the viewer to be extremely convincing. Those well trained in illusory magic or second sight are far less likely to fall for this glamour. A powerful enough mage can dispel the glamour, and other magic-based creatures such as fae can sense that he is not human.
Teleportation
Grey can teleport short to moderate distances, however there are restrictions. Grey must know where he is going and be able to visualize it. He can look at a picture, a life-like drawing, scry the location, or pull it from someone else's mind, but he has to be able to understand what he's looking at. Additionally, the further he teleports the harder it is on him and his mana pool.
When teleporting Grey will instantly dissolve into smoke or mist which will also quickly dissipate, and upon arriving he will appear as a similar smoky cloud that condenses into physical form. The viewer does not see Grey 'travelling' to his destination, however Grey's perception is different. He will 'zoom in' to the location, and the farther the location the more extreme the effect is i.e. long distances will have a 'warp speed' effect.
Magic
As a familiar Grey, obviously, uses magic. While on this plane there are significant limitations placed on him, he is still a considerably powerful being. As a general rule Grey prefers to conserve his energy and mana so it is unlikely for him to start casting spells willy-nilly. However, instances of emotional stress such as rage and anguish tend to initiate flare-ups of what is best described as poltergeist activity. Fuck up Grey's day and he'll fuck up yours. Possibly with a chair to the face.
