Who We Are

  • Explanation of Ranks

    Shogun - Acting ruler of the prefecture. They are the only ones with the authority to create rules and customs. Their word is law and their word is final. Maximum 2 shogun allowed.

    Advisor/Daimyou - Personal advisors to the shogun. They help guide decision-making and impart wisdom, but they are not capable of making decisions. Daimyou are advisors to the court who understand the culture of Nippon. Daimyou may impart rules, in the absence of shogun, but their rules and bylaws can be reversed by shogun. Advisors and Daimyou are directly appointed by shogun, at the shogun's discretion.

    Ambassador - Responsible for upholding the peace and ensuring diplomacy between ourselves and other prides. Ambassador must maintain a cool head, under pressure and be willing to balance the needs of other prides with our own. They may also be asked to provide alliance children. Should only need 1 ambassador, at a time, unless if responsibilities become overwhelming.

    Samurai - Warriors and protectors of the prefecture. They defend their homeland with pride and honor. Samurai are also responsible for helping police the shogunate and ensuring that the law is upheld. Should have about 1 samurai for every 4-5 members.

    Scout - Information gatherers. They can patrol regions both inside and outside of the prefecture, to gather information about The Outlands. However, they must limit conversation with those outside of the pride.

    Kariudo - Hunters. They keep us fed, enough said. No limit on kariudo, the more the better.

    Citizens - Those with no special responsibilities.
