Daytime: Harlyn is unable to resist the urge to sleep during the daytime, becoming incapacitated (much like a corpse) unless interred within the ground or within a coffin. Resisting can result in the Bleeds (bleeding from the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth). This day-sleep can allow her to regenerate from anything except fatal injuries, however she remains completely inanimate until nightfall. | Fledgling: As a newly made vampire, Harlyn has difficulty controlling the majority of her vampiric aspects including hunger/frenzy. She needs to feed more frequently than older vampires, can sustain less damage without the need for regenerative sleep, and is ultimately less powerful than her elder counterparts. | Permission To Enter: Without the expressed permission of an occupant of a home/residence, Harlyn cannot enter as if barred by an invisible force. Work spaces used as homes are considered exempt, as they operate under an open invitation allowing her to enter as any other patron would. |
Silver: Burns the skin on contact, causing extreme pain, blistering, and rashes. When bound in silver, a vampire is extremely vulnerable and unable to escape without great harm to themselves (if at all). | Staked: Sometimes the oldest and easiest ways are the most effective. Puncturing the vampire's heart with a wooden or silver stake will result in True Death, as will a severing of the head from its spinal column. Piercing the heart with any other material will render her immobile and paralyzed. | Sunlight: Prolonged exposure can prove fatal within five minutes. Causes skin to blacken and char until fully consumed by the combustion taking place inside, at which point the vampire collapses into a pile of ash and dust in a True Death. |
Agility: The girl is remarkably fast and capable of moving with almost more speed than a mundane eye can follow, though she lacks the dexterity and coordination to perform this feat without mistakes.
