Monotone, flat, breathy. Builds with sudden strength when passionate and excited, and pitches higher when nervous or fearful. Likes to whisper.

Age:
Mid-twenties equivalent, when undeath hit. Around 28-ish.
Eyes:
Pitch black, shining, no white schlera.
Left eye missing.
Hair:
Ink black, thin, long and straight, mid-back length. It often either hangs over one side of his face, or (opportunity allowing) tied back in complex braids.
Skin:
Stone-grey, with dusted black spots and splotches that are akin to either soot marks or dribbled ink. Left half of his face bears discolored, white skin with an albino-blond eyebrow. It looks like a skin-graft.
Aura:
Undead, "Locked out" of passing on. Darker hues of purple and black, seemingly followed by fragile spirits or shadows like darting fish. His physical body otherwise passes for living in functionality.
Magical Alignment:
Shadows, Umbrakinesis, void, Bloodmagic, Necromancy. Carries witch's blood in him.
Other Traits:
Since his most recent revival from Death, his mind and spirit have been anchored to his body, and are locked from any outside influence. He is immune to empath-reading, to hypnosis, to planted memories, planted emotions, and information cannot be forcefully obtained from his mind or spirit without consent. This 'anchor lock' also keeps him from having his soul torn out from his body. Telepathy can still be received, but it enters through a protective filter, first.
Familiar:
A shadowy crow (or raven?) by the name of "Sable." It swears, frequently steals things, and generally enjoys mischief.
Influences:
Devil-touched, has been "anointed" with the blood of the horse of an avatar of War. Weakened against physical vampiric influences (blood addiction).

Scars:
Acid-splash scars that cover his wings, hands, and arms.
Pierced scar at his ribs that exits on the other side.
Scratch-scars that surround his throat, as if once strangled by a thorny cable.
Left side of his face has necromantic-bleached skin
Thin, superficial knife-cut scars on his right hip, frequently concealed.
A surgically-induced square scar surrounds the area of the knife-cut scars, suggesting that the knife-cuts were done sometime after the surgery. The scar itself is only a thin discoloration; the wound had been healed the day it was made.
Tattoos:
Thin star tattoo on his chest, white with black on the inside and outside.
A strange caramel-brown star tattoo that extends across the palm of his right hand. It appears to be a marking instead of something made with ink. In truth, the star 'tattoo' is a skin-graft taken from Azilie Ryld.

Constantly examining and re-examining his surroundings, everything goes through a filter of personal logic before emotion is allowed to apply itself to the result. This isn't to say he's not emotional; Hashenn is known to be swept up in fits of passion when he believes himself to be in the right, or when fighting for an opinion he has committed himself with full conviction. This can drive himself to the point of being an asshole, when he feels his personal truth to be more important than the "irrational" feelings and opinions of others.
He remains guarded around strangers, and only truly opens up to a selected few. After having gone through a society that treated him as nothing more than a tool, he fights for his own personhood with a fierce ferocity that borderlines on delinquency. When allowed to grow and to feel safe enough to lower his guard, he tends to be playful, curious, helpful, and always seeking new experiences or concepts to consider over. He's someone that holds a deep appreciation for domestic comforts.
