  • For whomever wishes it

    There are many questions surrounding the perennial anomaly known as mortality. How we come into being, and where that being goes once we die.

    Some believe our souls relinquish it's hold upon our physical body and ascend, lead by a ambiguous messenger, simply known as Death. Others believe death is but a stepping stone in a larger story of renewal, the same spirit coming back to accomplish a different task. Still more will tell you that your actions decide where you go. Living a life of heedless self indulgence and cruelty, will make Death sentence you to eternal damnation. Those of righteous goodwill are lifted into the heavens and beyond.

    And some, say there is no good or bad... there just is.

  • It is yours for the taking

    Unsurprisingly, Tobi is an amalgamation of a rogue/priest. Can throw razor waffles for days, but one good bonk to the head, and it's lights out.

    Therefore, whenever engaging Tobi in some sort of brawl, (which is always welcome) here are some easy things to remember.

    1. Tobi can unleash crazy amounts of damage, but cannot take a heavy walloping. Hypocrite.
    2. Tobi can heal, rejuvenate, and buff others, but NOT themself.
    3. Tobi's abilities are all based around GOODNESS, HAPPINESS and SUNSHINE. Therefore all of their offensive abilities will do positively dick to anyone NOT of a malignant/negative disposition. (this does not hold true with individuals who are of a kindly nature that have, for whatever reason, become 'evil')
    4. Tobi has virtually no defenses to speak of. They are naturally resistant to physical attacks, (being a spirit and all) but assault from magic, enchanted artifacts/weaponry, or magically augmented individuals will do the job nicely. HOWEVER, if any of the above is holy based, the damage will be halved.

    Abilities

    Offensive

    1. God's Fist: Focuses spirit energy around hands/feet, so we can get Muhammad Ali up in this biotch.
    2. Wooshy Palm: We all know this one. Spirit Gun, Hadouken, Kamehameha Wave, etc. A focused ball of ki aimed right for your Gohans gonads.
    3. Lancing Juggernaut: Creates a force field which allows them to fulfill their dream of becoming a ping-pong ball.
    4. Peevish Hydra: Summons a dragon with the capacity to grow multiple heads. It's dangerous to go alone, take this! *weed-whacker*
    5. Swiss Army Cheese: Generates blades of various styles befitting the situation at hand.
    6. Bullet Hell: Small to medium sized energy pellets that reproduced like rabbits... Gradius, anyone?
    7. When in Doubt: Tobi can detach two of their tails to form a weapon. The weapon has two forms; A double ended glaive, and a longbow. Both variants can utilize the above abilities in numerous ways, limited only by Tobi's ingenuity.
    8. Shooting Star: Tobi's adaptation of Volt Tackle, basically. Only, once a target has been decided. They cannot change course, and the speed at which they travel blinds them.

      More to come as it occurs to me.

      NOTE: Tobi's offensive abilities are not designed to harm on the physical, but rather spiritual plane. Therefore any creature without a soul, (sans undead/unholy rascals) it will have no effect.

      Curative/Defensive

      1. Feel Better Hugs: By touch alone Tobi can find a booboo, inside or out. And make it all bettah.
      2. Confidence Boost: If someone is feeling down, be it natural or caused by outside influence {hexes/curses/demonic possession, etc). Tobi can ease it away in preference of good vibes and best wishes.
      3. Stunt Double: Tobi can teleport to a nearby ally and shield them from damage, but takes damage in their stead. Get behind Braum!
      4. Now With More Vitamin C!: Tobi can imbue strength, dexterity, vitality, and so on into a chosen ally. But whatever they gain, Tobi loses for the duration of the buff.
      5. God, is that you....?: Tobi can sacrifice themself to revive a fallen party member. As a result Tobi will 'die' and become incapacitated for twenty-four hours.
      6. Flu Shot!: Tobi will identify an ally's general weaknesses and bolster them for a time. Like before, whatever resistance they gain, Tobi loses.

        NOTE: These abilities are entirely consent-based. Meaning, if you don't want your character to be influenced by Tobi's jazz hands, then they won't. I will always ask permission before attempting to heal, defend, or otherwise influence your character. Additionally, let it be known that, as a spirit. Healing/medical aid of any sort isn't going to work on them.

        Innate/Passive

        1. Illusion: Be it toward friend or foe Tobi can create false images, landscapes, and in some cases surreal visions. This can be used to either confound an enemy, or soothe someone who is troubled.
        2. What Are Those?!: Being a pacifist (with the occasional penchant for mischief) at heart, Tobi wishes not to harm any living thing. Thus they'll often be seen levitating, walking on air, or dozing on a cloud. And not a single beetle was harmed that day.
        3. Dearly Departed: Being a spirit, Tobi is in direct connection with the afterlife, and can see other spirits, regardless of what form they take. Likewise, those lacking a soul will also be detected.
        4. True Sight: Going off from the last one, when Tobi makes themselves corporeal (aka, becoming tangible physically and visually to the average joe's discerning senses) they lose the ability to see solid/inanimate objects. Only the souls of living things can be viewed during this time.
        5. Ghoul Shenanigans: Everything a spirit, benign or malevolent, are known to do. Tobi can too. This includes but isn't limited to phasing through solid objects, disappearing*, possession, and telekinesis.

          NOTE: If you feel that these innate skills wouldn't work/impact your character, don't hesitate to let me know. I'm not one for making assumptions. *Similarly, if your character has a means with which to bypass/get around Tobi's abilities, tell me post haste.
