  Dislikes‖ Ignorance, romantic comedies, fake gold, higher-ranking demons, children (they scare him), girls who just want his money, dry hot climates, being outfoxed, missing a day at the gym.
  
  Appearance‖ He is a rough and tumble demon both in appearance and personality. His back is entirely covered in intricate Maori tattoos including a tribal looking hammerhead shark that changes colour with his powers (based on whose power he absorbs - he steals peoples colour schemes pretty much). His eyes are gold. His teeth are entirely gold. If he wears any jewelry it's gold. He's fond of flashiness lol... probably cuz he kind of came from nothing and had to build his own wealth. He likes to wear open vests to show off his ROCK HARD BODEH. Basically he's very ostentatious, an invitation for anyone to try and fux wit him, but no one would dare.

  Personality‖ Self-important, self-centred, selfish. He puts himself before other people - always, because he knows that if he doesn't look out for No. 1, no one will. This means he's not afraid to throw other people under the bus when it suits him, and he forms relationships knowing they'll end inevitably, usually on disastrous terms. He's arrogant but not insecure, so he doesn't feel a need to brag and throw his weight around everywhere; he simply knows he's the shit. That said, he feels deserving of all the finer things in life and makes it his mission to own every gold-leafed jewel-encrusted treasure on the planet, as well as sample every type of rare cheese and wine. He is trying to start his own amateur collection of fine art - all stolen pieces, of course.
  
  He speaks in colloquialisms and shorthand, and coupled with his beefy appearance, some would mistake him for a simpleton. They're wrong. And classist. Hismael is clever and conniving in a way you can only attain through thousands of years of trial and error and making a living off screwing other people over. He loves nothing more than proving people wrong about him. And he really loves reading - novels, nonfiction, textbooks, etc.
  
  When meeting other people for the first time, he's jovial and generous until he learns what he wants. This demeanour isn't a ruse, he's genuinely a social and fun-loving person. He can turn serious in a moment though, typically once he's ruined your life.
  
  tl;dr a treacherous pirate with no moral code.
  
  Powers‖ 'Hismael the Acquirer'. In this case acquirer refers to acquiring other people's powers. He can absorb the powers of other supernatural beings by phasing his hand through their chest and holding it there for a few moments (it's painless but they'll probably notice his hand in them lol). If he's successful, his back tattoo will change colour to reflect his new power. His victim meanwhile will lose all their abilities (including being able to transform into alternate forms). He can keep the powers permanently if he so wishes because there's no time limit, HOWEVER he can only hold 1 demon's powers at a time. He has to get rid of the powers he has before he can acquire new ones, typically by transferring the powers back to their original owners (though he can also give them to other demons, or even humans). He can't simply 'release' the powers into nowhere, they have to go to someone else. He intuitively 'knows' all the powers he has absorbed, so if he takes a kind of obscure power he'll still be aware of what it is. He can also use the alternate forms of the demon whose power he has taken.
  
  He's pretty low ranking (no legions to command etc etc) but managed to make himself infamous through fucking with powerful demons. He's smarter than he looks and has amassed a small fortune through holding demonic abilities for ransom. He spends his money on hookers and blow and pretty much lives for himself. He has no 'grand plan' he just wants to spend his immortality being feared and filthy rich.
  
  Hismael loathes angels and snobby high-ranking demons. However his loyalty can be bought for a hefty price; he can operate on a mercenary-for-hire basis if you want a demon made powerless, for example, or if you want him to acquire a nifty new ability for you. He has no superior moral code and doesn't ask questions, which is a good thing i guess if you're doing something illegal. Basically he's fine with watching the world burn as long as he's happy and comfortable during it.
