He has dark teal almond eyes with naturally long eyelashes and stylized eyebrows for a dramatic but cool look.     　On September 29th, ҨҨAA, Jacinto is born to Luis and Araceli de la Vega in Amity Park. He is the older cousin to Paulina Sanchez, her father being his mother's younger brother. The two families would often frequent the other to allow their children to bond and play with one another, developing a sibling-like relationship. As children, Jacinto would enjoy playing as a charming dragon who protects the princess Paulina. Sadly, while the two were in elementary, his parents decided to move their family to California for a more normal life than remain in the oddities of Amity Park. The cousins would miss not having the other around however keeping in touch was made difficult due to time zones. They used to write letters but eventually Paulina stopped responding.

    　While growing up in California was something he originally accepted, Jacinto quickly respond positively to the state culture— appreciating the very different style of living. Unlike Amity Park where he recalls to be very dull but quaint, the city of Los Terrenos¹ had more personality and spunk. This new outlook gave Jacinto more excitement to experiment in his own appearance as well as finding what life and identity means to him. Jacinto began to explore philosophy, astrology, and other practices that give answers to human life.

    　Despite Paulina not responding much to his letters or calls, often excusing her busy life — Jacinto does not think lowly of his cousin. Their family still got together for holidays and special events and the two are still friendly with another. While Jacinto can see how much Paulina has changed, he muses that the two can bond over fashion.

    　Due to their visits to Amity Park, Jacinto is both fascinated and frightened by the ghost attacks the city experiences. However his favorite ghost incident revolved around the ghost Ember McClain, as her look and music is sensational for appreciation. Additionally, when Paulina had her quinceañera, Jacinto's family came to celebrate however he got bored listening to Paulina wishing to meet the ghost boy. It is around that time that his parents discuss moving back to Amity Park, it isn't the most ideal place, they miss being close to family; Jacinto is 16 years old when his family moves back to Amity Park.

    　During the school year, Jacinto gets to hang out with Paulina again due to not knowing many people. While he likes her friends Star and Valerie, he does not really like the jocks she hangs out with. Especially since Dash read his name incorrectly to a horrible pronunciation. However, as Jacinto spends more time getting to understand the Casper High routine, he ends up befriending Jazz Fenton for her model behavior. Her interest in psychology makes great conversation for his interest in philosophy. Through Jazz, Jacinto meets her wacky parents, brother and his friends.

    　¹ Los Terrenos is a fictional city in California, any similarities to real life places are coincidental.

    　🌟 Jacinto is a spunky and abstract young teen who likes to question everything. He likes to challenge the norms but only through his own actions rather than finding others to join him. He is not a confrontational person but enjoys being the center of attention. However, if anger gets the best of him, Jacinto will strike back harder and feel guilty later. He likes positive vibes and does not resonate with aggression or unwanted violence. He is not competitive or interested much in most sports but he does like to play soccer.

    　🌟 Flower Friend; Jazz Fenton is one of the few people Jacinto has taken a liking to ever since moving back to Amity Park. While he finds her to be oddly adultish or mature, he likes that she has well-meaning intentions for her actions. He considers her a flower friend noting that her name is the flower Jasmine, while his name is the flower Hyacinth. Due to those similarities, Jacinto likes bring up flower and other pseudoscience languages or beliefs whenever he and Jazz hangout. He likes psychology but it's fun to debate with Jazz over pseudoscience.

    ﴾Danny Fenton﴿
    　🌟 Odd One; Unsure if it's his relation to Paulina, Jacinto cannot tell if Danny means to be so awkward around him. While Jacinto eventually learns from Jazz about Danny's old crush on Paulina. This makes Jacinto wish Danny would not compare him to his cousin. He loves his cousin but her actions are her own, not his. Additionally, Jacinto gets confused for Danny's sudden and brash behavior whenever a ghost attack happens, Jazz seems to freak out about this too. (Alternately, Jacinto does think Danny Phantom is pretty cool).

    ﴾Sam Manson﴿
    　🌟 Frenemy; Jacinto and Sam do not get along all that well with Paulina being his cousin. Sam's first impression of him had been that of being on the Popular's level and equating him to be an insincere snob. While Jacinto cannot dismiss Sam's experiences with his cousin, he does not appreciate the goth insulting his person. He tries not to argue with Sam due to her being close with Jazz. However, with all honesty, Jacinto would consider Sam a cool person if she weren't so judgmental.

    ﴾Tucker Foley﴿
    　🌟 Above the times; Jacinto believes Tucker is not appreciated enough for his interest and skills regarding technology. While he is not as tech savvy himself, there is beauty and life to the man-made creations of technology where humanity will soon head. Jacinto believes Tucker understands how the future will favor technology and has made the effort to embrace the digital world. Tucker has no idea of Jacinto's technology conspiracies involving him and is often confused of Jacinto's adoration.

    　🌟 Brute Imbecile; Jacinto strong dislikes Dash after the jock had butchered pronunciating his name and seeing no need to apologize. He is confused by Dash's ability to understand that his high school years will be his "best years of his life" while acknowledging the years after will being "going downhill from that". Jacinto wonders why Dash cannot see the reason to find ways to better himself, but also does not care as long as the blond remains a bully. Jacinto enjoys making snide remarks whenever Dash speaks.

Jacinto's zodiac sign is a Libra with the ruling planet Venus with the birth month September. The month was inspired from Ember's song Remember, first taking place in September.

    　🌟 Jacinto has a popular online persona called BanChic where he posts his interests and thoughts in fashion and his hobbies but also records himself in shopping fails during ghost attacks in Amity Park. Those fashion fails relate to being unable to purchase something as the shop or items is damaged and Jacinto acting either entitled or pretending like nothing is wrong. The videos are just to make fun of the situation or Jacinto making fun of himself. The name BanChic is his word play for "Banshee", the screaming female ghosts, and a joke in banning Chic fashion.
