Family History
The Lambes have been a witching family as far back as anyone cares to remember. Of pure bloodline, they like to brag. However, they have not traditionally involved themselves with other covens. It's unclear if this is because they simply prefer to keep to themselves, or if it is because other witches don't trust a household known for having grave dirt beneath their fingernails. This is changing, however, perhaps because Jimmy is allegedly the only Lambe left breathing.



Personal History
Jimmy is one of those people who, when people hear he had a rough childhood, it doesn't surprise them. On the surface, he is an eccentric. Deeper, he is as sly as the most cunning witches of dark fairy tales, with a keen sense for business. This might make sense for a medium whose parent's approach to his nightly visits from the angry departed was 'he'll sort it out for himself'. James managed. Shortly after he reached adulthood, the family property was left to him by his grandmother. He might be young, but protecting the traditions of his ancestors, and finding someone to whom he can pass them on means everything to him.

Sodalite, James' familiar, is walking testament to his skill as both a designer and as a necromancer, and James knows it. He is rarely seen without her, though he does sometimes part from her when he uses her as a spy. She often displays an unsettling, sometimes near human intelligence. Much to her owner's chagrin, she also has a cheeky sense of humor to match.

Jimmy is a witch who works by enchanting plushies and dolls, each lovingly made by hand. These dolls are sentient, or so Jimmy claims. They never move. His abilities differ depending on the doll he carries. If he is separated from his doll, or if the doll is damaged, Jimmy is cut off from his power and can suffer physical damage. Jimmy may only carry one doll at a time. This is his full collection.

Jimmy's dolls have hearts of glass. Inside each is the a preserved section of heart from one of his blood relatives, harvested in the days immediately after death. They are enchanted to endow him with dead's accomplishments in areas of magic they showed particular talent with in life. He is part necromancer, part powerful medium. Jimmy claims this method of keeping the wisdom of past generations alive is not only a tradition but a filial duty. He might be lying. Worse yet, he might actually find comfort in the idea of being made into a doll when he dies. Grim.

◂ Though James uses possessed dolls himself, buyers have themselves made into one after they pass away must first submit to a lengthy interview process. Simple charms and curses are available over the counter.
