Kibayashi Katori

History

• Katori was a happy child.
  
  She had a mother, a father, and a baby brother.
  
  Yet, it was all snatched away one winter night. The night she discovered her quirk.
  
  A little girl's scream echoed through the air, waking the other occupants of the house. Her mother quickly hopped out of bed, her father in pursuit. They raced her room, flinging the door open. To their horror, the room was engulfed in flames, the little girl curled up in the far corner.
  
  "Katori!" Her father cried, leaping into the blazing room. He covered his nose and mouth with his shirt, jumping through the flames to reach his daughter.
  
  With his free hand, he tugged his daughter along. A loud cracking filled the air, and the man pushed his daughter forward, into the arms of his wife. "Go on without me!" Came his last words. Horrified, the mother and daughter raced out of the now-burning house.
  
  Once Katori was safe outside, her mother realized something. "Rin!" She gasped. "Katori," she said, peering into her daughter's eyes, "Be a good girl and stay here. I'm going to get your brother."
  
  That was the last she ever heard from them.
  
  After the incident, she was sent to live with the only other family member she had; her aunt.
  
  Her inspiration to become a hero came from All Might himself, much like many others. She dreamed of helping others the way he had for so long.
  
  This dream encouraged her to learn to control her quirk, and aim for the best hero school around. So, with the help if her aunt (who had a similar quirk), she trained day and night, preparing for tryouts.
  
  At last, the glorious day came. She had acted the entrance exam, and made it into UA High. She was going to be a hero.
