Life wasn't easy for her. She was either feared or just avoided. She couldn't blame them... she was odd. Not many can say they can take off their head to wash their hair. This irish bun tried to make the best of things. But not everyone made it easy for her. Life was lonely, she didn't go to school like others her age. No she had to stay in the territory, her family territory. They had been given the task of guarding the remains of a old castle and those that haunted it. Their eternal torment, her families duty. One she wished she could abandon, not like there weren't others who could stay. Keela wanted to explore, but she had never been outside the family territory.

Her only real friend was Duncan, a flaming canine skull. Dullahan use skulls with candles to light their way. Duncan is her light and her friend. He had been a hound she found dieing in the forest when she was little. He had been set on fire for whatever reason. She stayed with him till he passed, but he did not move on. Instead he stuck around, possessing his own skull.
