  Khloros Kiragi is the owner of the last dock and shipping company in the hamlet of Highwell. The business has been in his family's name for hundreds of years, and done well enough with it to keep the gears turning for now, but things were beginning to look bleak until the disruption between Leejis and Kosh. With business starting to pick up again for the first time in better than a decade, he's been seen around town more often as work necessitates, even so far as stopping into the Five Fox Tavern. Although the town's many recent visitors may only hear of him in passing or never at all, most of the town's residents know him.
  
  
  Those that have know him as a very aloof lynx, a very cold personality with little care to stop and chat. He's never gone out of his way to hurt anyone but he doesn't give to charity either. What little work his shipping business can offer, workers are treated and paid fairly. Although a heraldic member of House Balsamud, his allegiance has been sworn to Giovarri and Kosh County for many years.
• The Real Story:

  
  The Emerald Ferret has been in business for over a hundred years under the ownership of one Lochaide Kiragi, vampire and retired adventurer. Every so many years, once the faces of the town have become fresh from another cycle of the mortal reproductive system, the old, reclusive, and elder Kiragi would pass away and a family member would travel from far off to take possession of their holdings. For a hundred years Lochaide has held the Emerald Ferret and the nearby manor in his posession this way. Some locals, over time, have made the connection but none have lived to tell of it; the Highlands are a dangerous place.
  
  
  Although still prone to adventuring, most of Lochaide's time is spent in Highwell, either at the shipping warehouse or his own home; rarely he'll spend an evening at the Five Fox.
  
• History:

  
  Lochaide Kiragi was born in the Olde World in 721, just more than 450 years prior. His early life is mostly unknown and clouded in obscurity, but at the age of 38 he was turned to a member of the undead unwillingly and has woke up dead every moonrise since. Once travel to what would become Kasuria became common, he wasted no time in getting passage aboard a ship and making his travels.
  
  
  During the invasion of Wyrmme Riders, Lochaide allied himself with House Balsamud, earning himself and his "family" a place of Heraldic title within the House and gaining a great deal of land. After the great cold set in that ended the Wyrmme Rider invasion, Lochaide settled in the Highlands near the eastern border of Kosh, founding a shipping port for the northern cities and creating a small village in the process.
