    Displacers are surprisingly rare in Furcadia. Dragons sure. Displacer beasts? Exotic apparently. Kyla's never seen another of her kind, not even her father. Her mom, a normal panther, raised and loved her gift from the ravishing, near feral male who payed her a visit one hot summer night. But Kyla went through life set apart from others. School life was of course harsh for someone with four arms and a pair of shoulder-mounted tentacles covered in flesh-rending claws. It was all too easy to assume someone who shifts position like a mirage had sinister motives. And so the young beastie learned to be the bad girl, the sinister creature of the night, hiding her sensitive nature behind a vaguely threatening sneer.

    Today she trades on her intimidating nature as a security 'associate' at a local night club. At her spacious and well appointed loft, she practices her guitar and invites many a one-nighter from the bar. Maybe she's a badass waiting for her opportunity to become something truly extraordinary, or maybe she's a lonely kitten wishing for a normal life. Who knows?

    She doesn't know herself. She doesn't know why strange strange instincts bubble up to the surface from time to time or why she can't decide between frightening or ravishing her many partners. Maybe in time...
