Kyto Whitefrost

Kyto Sumatora was born with a hereditary curse that caused his soul to be fractured. An unrequited love awoke the curse when he was barely an adult. The transformation almost killed him. Kyto's father, Kasiku was forced to drag Kyto into a Hel gate to trap his soul. Kasiku's body was destroyed, but his own soul was kept safe in a bottle by a close friend.

Years had passed before anyone saw Kyto again. Kyto's soul was, in fact, two different entities -- one pure, one evil. Innocents are not made to stay in Hell. However, they are forced to find their own way out. Kyto's good half fought to escape for years before succeeding. A kind dragon named Valde Extraho of Obscurum took him in; it was her hostel that brought him to his now departed wife Angala. A different lady had caught Kyto's eye at first: Lily. He hadn't discovered until later that Lily is Angala's mother. Lily, however, didn't share Kyto's fondness; causing Kyto's evil incarnation, Darkfrost, to reemerge. Darkfrost was a malign doppelganger with black skin that eventually separated entirely from Kyto's being. Even apart Darkfrost wanted Kyto dead in the most painful way possible. Darkfrost even teased at murdering an old friend of Kasiku using a soul-draining dagger. Angala discovered at the last minute that she could trap Darkfrost in the dagger after purifying it. No one knows where Angala had hidden that dagger containing Darkfrost's soul.

Kyto and Angala soon had a daughter, Dulcia. Kashisukan had even reunited Kyto with his grandmother, Mirasu (quite by accident). But there were hard times as well. Kashisukan; Kyto's grandfather, full blooded demon and origin of the family curse; caused havoc for Valde, Kasiku, Kyto, and many others in Kyto's life in search for a timeless artifact of pure chaos. Undenounced to Kash, Kyto had found the artifact and was keeping it in a special safe.
A few years later, Kyto had taken in a near-dead chimera named Whymsicalisk. Whymsi, for short, was a petite mustiline with oversized phoenix wings and a dragon tail equipped with three scissoring blades at the tip. With Kyto's help and tutelage Whymsi had become more confident and self sustaining. The chimera remained a loyal servant regardless of Kyto's encouragement. Together the two commissioned a great manor as both home and protection for their family and friends. Rimeweaver Manor was a few months short of completion when Kashisukan turned up another evil plot to take the chaotic artifact Kyto had kept secret until then. The one and only battle on the manor grounds tore the property in twain; leaving Kyto alone the victor, and Kashisukan escaping almost dead.
