Malakai's smile, a warm and radiant jewel that turns his expression to that of someone dependable in a matter of seconds, is often on display and easily given. Though he isn't attractive in the trademark Bonnard way (their fiery blue orbs and charming yet sly smiles those of daughter stealers and heartbreakers) he is certainly easy on the eyes: His features, almost feminine in their softness, give him an air of innocence.

He carries himself in a way that allows him to empathize with others, the male being extremely passionate about understanding the world around him. Loyalty is an important ideal to him, the ravenette never considering spilling the Bonnards secrets, whether it be for his own personal gain or to save his neck. His loyal and honest nature has led him to have a skewed and too-positive outlook on the people around him. Though many know he is a man of his word, he tries his hardest to believe that others are too, making it easy for one to lie and manipulate him. In that sense, his good-natured ways can be a set back, though he is good at generally avoiding the untrustworthy type, the issue being more prominent when it involves those he's close to, be it family or friends, lying to him. Despite this, the males unflinching belief that all can be honest and good has led him to make many companions, the ravenette never having once felt the loneliness of the time before. That is how he refers to the early days of his childhood. Though his memories of it are faint, the images of war and loss are still burnt into the inky reccesses of his mind, the male seldom speaking of it in order to avoid the painfully visceral emotions they invoke. Despite feeling things deeply, he is one to be reticent when it comes to the deeper and often times negative emotions he experiences, the male not wanting to worry those he cares for. Thus, he can lash out after long periods of time, most often time isolating himself rather than communicating his feelings upfront. In the comfort of his home Malakai is known to be childlike in his sense of humor as well as curiosity, a stark contrast to the mature young man he presents himself as in public. He enjoys spending his time writing, a secret passion of his, as well as cooking — Many are surprised at what a good chef he is, much to his sheepish-delight. Cooking helps him clear his mind, and he can often be found pestering his mother into teaching him a recipe or helping him perfect a new one.
